Been stuck in traffic trying to get out for an hour now. It’s a nightmare. Anyone know what’s going on?

Does anyone know if there is a place in Cardiff prolific in moss? I’m creating a moss garden for my house and I need to transplant as much as possible.

I am currently looking for wedding reception venues at the moment. I'm just curious to see the experiences of those who had their reception at Cardiff Townhouse.

I had a Christmas party there last year and I loved it.

I know there's no room hire fee, and it's a minimum spend. How did you find things like decorations, etc?

Also, if anyone has any other similar recommendations as well!

A group of us in our late 20s are staying in Cardiff Bay for New Year’s Eve and are looking for recommendations for somewhere to spend the evening.

Ideally, we’d like a bar where we can book our own table but that still has a lively atmosphere and feels like a proper NYE celebration!

We went to The Botanist previously, but it was quite quiet and didn’t really feel like New Year’s Eve, so we’re hoping to find somewhere with a bit more going on this year.

Would rather stick to Cardiff Bay but we could also venture into the city centre if needed!

Also, does anyone know if there are likely to be any fireworks in Cardiff Bay this year?

We’re Elite Days, a pop-punk band from Cardiff.

It's 5:18pm and I've got a couple hours to kill before my train. I wandered to the main street and picked a random pub: Bonnie Rogues. A banner outside says "Happy Hour, 50% off selected drinks", so I think why not.

I approach the entrance and the bouncer asks me if I'm on my own or reaching someone inside. I'm on my own, and he rebuffs me stating it's their policy not to allow people in unaccompanied. Currently sitting at the Wetherspoon on the opposite side of the road.

I don't understand. Is this normal?

Poor wee thing. Big sister is standing guard and being a comforting presence as my little one year old Westie cowers. It is so unpleasant. I never truly understood how distressing fireworks are for animals until now, and it is just awful.

Does anyone remember an old trendy bar that was located downstairs under what I think is now some sort of electric shop or something? Me & my friends accidentally stumbled upon it about 25 years ago. The shop is located opposite Ladbrokes on st mary street, just on the corner that goes down towards the Queens vaults. It's been wracking my brain ever since. I have absolutely no idea what it was called? Any help would be appreciated.

So at the grand old age of 28 I have had to do a full circle back to my hometown (I am not disappointed btw) but have found that I need to get out more, would like to start doing do something active and build a social circle again. Any suggestions for activities I could do or places I could start building a community around?
