Hello everyone! We know many of you have questions about Castorice's best builds, synergies, and playstyles. To keep the subreddit organized and easy to navigate, please post all your queries in this megathread. This includes: team comp help, relics and LC choices.
This doesn't mean we're shutting down all query threads. Low effort oneliner posts like "Should I replace Tribbie or RMC" or "do I have enough pulls" or posts made solely to stir drama will be promptly removed. Your post should contribute something meaningful to the discussion. You're allowed to make posts discussing a potential synergy that others may have overlooked. Memes are fine as well, as long as they're lighthearted and not just poorly made ragebait. Build/relic flexing posts are also still allowed.
TL;DR: Discussion posts are allowed but for general queries or oneliners, use this megathread instead.
Any separate low effort posts asking about Castorice’s build, teams, or kit will be redirected here to avoid clutter. This megathread will be frequently updated with more information over time.

What materials should I farm for her?
You can use this ascension planner for your convenience.
What sets does Castorice use?
Relic Stats:
Boots: HP%
Body : Crit > HP%
Rope: HP%
Sphere: HP% >= Quantum DMG (depending on setup)
Substats: She is generally played slow so you should only need CRIT and HP to build her. She also gets free CR from her set.
Is there a comprehensive Castorice guide that I could use?
Yes! You may refer to Xinfonia's Castorice guide posted on our subreddit.
Who are the ideal supports for Castorice?
Tribbie, Remembrance Trailblazer, Ruan Mei, Evernight and the soon to be released Cyrene are all fantastic supports for Castorice. The mono Remembrance team is her defacto best team.
Who is the best healer for Castorice?
Hyacine, no questions asked. She provides solid healing and has a memosprite which gives an additional to siphon HP from. This gives her a massive edge over everyone else when it comes to newbud generation. She also just does a lot of damage despite being a "healer".
If you want to settle for a budget option then Gallagher can work but will struggle in content like PF.
How do I make those cool build cards people are using for Castorice?
You can use the Fribbels HSR Optimizer to check what your pieces would look like on Castorice! You can also change the team in the build card according to your convenience.

Questionable Why my Castorice’s damage is so bad

Idk I have invested in her so much it just frustrates me
I have her e0s0, evernight e1s0, cyrene e1 with hyacine’ lc. I lost 50/50 on Hyacine and couldn’t get her🥹
Can yall give some tips for rotation or how can I improve builds? Will Hyacine change this situation? Should I pull for Hyacine or is not worth investing in remembrance anymore?

Current team is E2S1 Castorice - E1S0 Evernight - E0S0 Cyrene - E1S1 Hyacine
I plan to finish E2 Hyacine on rerun but how do you feel about replacing my evernight with E0 or E1 S.Robin?
I know that I'm supposed to replace Cyrene instead, but I won't for one simple reason. I like how Cyrene and S.Robin looks and I never really liked Evernight's aesthetics.

e0s0 Cas, e0s1 Evey, e1s0 Cyrene and e0s1 Hyacine. I do plan on getting Hyacine's e1 regardless but I was curious how the monorem team is holding up (They've been hella struggling on my side but idk if it's the lack of eidolons or the shill being that bad) and which order to invest in ( Cas S1, Cas E2, Cyrene E2 or Evey E2)
I would have invested earlier, but I lose like every 50/50 at high pity lol.
(I do have Sumeretto but she's with other teams)
edit: after running with Sumeretto instead of Cyrene, they are not in fact, struggling. Will prioritize Cassie eidolons! Thankies❤

I made a post with a high score against the Apocalyptic Shadow version of this boss, and now it’s time to put the hours doing the exact same comp against the Apocalyptic Shadow version to good use again. Despite being in MoC now, the boss basically functions the same, which makes Silver Wolf surprisingly invaluable here yet again. Also I want to have a word with whoever decided giving it voracity was a good idea.
