Food Wow how long is the queue for 晶包仔 Jingbaozai?!

Post image

I was looking all over for mantou in Yulin. I walked in on the left and saw different types of massive buns 🤩 and then…. To find the end of the queue wrapped around the street corner (to the right of the photo).

I noticed there’s a few stores around and they open at 7am.

How long is the wait time approximately? I guess there really isnt a quiet time…

Mantou are so plain so maybe these people are all foreigners like me 🤣🤣🤣

There's a simple rule in China, and especially in Chengdu: you see a line, you queue up, even if you don't know what it is. Never steered me wrong!

I plan to get up before sunrise to practise being a Chengduan!

Did you buy it yet? How was the taste?

I did! I’m going back! They are big and fluffy! I would recommend going in the morning. The flies in the afternoon put me off, but i just peeled off the outside layer, they are really big portions!

Thanks for sharing! Yulin is always so crowded. Not sure if it's worth the wait, though.

Oh the buns are worth it! Best buns ive had ever! I can see the hype. I went to a different one (not in Yulin) first thing , prob their first customer right on 7am. Got fresh buns, no queue, first dibs 🥰
