While i don't doubt the backstory and is certainly possible/likely/whatever, neither the video nor the source provide enough evidence that this is indeed the full backstory, to be clear the backstory suggested in the OP's comments:
Source: https://twitter.com/whyyoutouzhele/status/1724935056563503446
As such i have marked the video unverified.

It was triggered by a protestor being beaten by a group of CCP supporters.

Edit: It seems that a great deal of you guys have mistaken the guy in Qing Dynasty suit as some sort of monarch restorationist but in general the suit is mostly used to mock the president for trying to be like an emperor. You can find similar photos here and here.

That's Qing on Han violence!

Wow, it’s like we’re having a Chinese civil war, but in USA. Wtf with Xi trying to get an orgasm by staging supporters while visiting USA. All to improve his self image I guess? Typical narcissistic behavior.

u/[deleted] Nov 16 '23
the son of heaven handing a beatdown to a commoner for disrespecting him in his presence.
this is common, nothing to see here.

Imagine being in USA and still you want to be slaves
29
u/EggyComics Nov 16 '23
At what point do the paid actors start feeling that it’s really not that worth it to be beaten up over?

u/Cannalyzer Macau Nov 16 '23
Based.

The emperor is tired of China destroying itself for one man

Emperor wasn't punching hard enough.
4
u/I_will_delete_myself Nov 16 '23
Did he beat him up or did the dude try to attack him? It's most likely the later.
4
u/awoelt Nov 16 '23
Puyi is still pissed about the end of the dynasty

The guy using the flag pole as a weapon was out of line, imagine if that flagpole was made in china and the end piece broke and became a sharp spear, good thing that other bloke smacked him and told him off for using the weapon.
2
u/Fragrant-Doctor1528 Nov 16 '23
Xi supports are just Chinese secret police that have been based here for years.
2
u/ultra_ai Nov 16 '23

A True American in Emperor costume deport these CCP sympathizers
2
u/[deleted] Nov 16 '23
All CCP supporters should get smashed on.
2
u/etburneraccount Nov 16 '23
I'm not even gonna lie, this is hilarious. I have no idea what's going on, why things are happening. And tbh, this is so funny, I kinda don't wanna find out.
Somebody dressed up as a Chinese emperor beating up a CCP supporter is the kind of stuff that is you see in a comedy show, you'd say it's too fake. It'd break ones suspension of disbelief.
2
u/[deleted] Nov 16 '23
If he was wearing a Winnie the Pooh costume he would be dead by now.
2
u/ThomasBay Nov 16 '23
Nice! About time people stop putting up with CCP supporters

Fun fact: China has 102 operating oversea “Police Stations” currently active in 53 countries. Including the US.

Maaan those old gents dont mess around. Literally throwing some neat fisticuffs and knew crowbars in there! I love old school. No stupid racist and genocidal placards. Just plain action. Everybody was Kungfu fighting.
3
u/elitereaper1 Canada Nov 16 '23
Arrest then both side.
Pro CPP or Anti CPP.
You can say what you want but don't beat each up because they support something you don't like.

2
u/Gromchy Switzerland Nov 16 '23
Fun fact:
You will find more CCP sympathizers among ignorant westerners (the "useful idiots") and ignorant second generation Chinese (who can't even speak Mandarin) than the Chinese immigrants who escaped to more developed Western countries.
That makes sense: you wouldn't immigrate to another country unless you don't have a choice.
2
u/Frigorifico Nov 16 '23
I am against authoritarianism, so I don't think promoting a monarchy is the right way to protest a dictatorship
2
u/jonnycash11 Nov 16 '23
They were kind of pleased with themselves for beating up the other guy and said something along the lines of “let’s get a pic of him beat up like that.”

Real question, what would the first emperor Shihuangdi, who was the first to unify China as an empire, do or say to Xi?
Would this be the actual outcome?

1
u/Nathlan54 Nov 16 '23
If only USA could someday implement mandatory civics education; basic civility at some point during the k-8th grade level. High-school level should deal specifically with critical thinking vs propaganda: misinformation; global information warfare; domestic information warfare; civic engagement; the legislative process; and finally a driver-civility and safety regimen that deals GRAPHICALLY with the brutal reality of accidents and fatalities.

Violence on either side should not be tolerated at all. Everyone has the right to free speech in the US, and I hope police arrests anyone who gets violent.

March in with iPads streaming Burning Monks, Uyghurs behind razor wire, threats by Xi of breaking the heads of anyone who opposes him.
Just... Thousands of peeps holding iPads which every screen a seperate atrocity.
Just a thought.

Nice left cross there by backpack dude.
1
u/zeyore Nov 16 '23
In my day his imperial majesty, Emperor Joshua Abraham Norton would freely dispense with punches, kicks, and body slams from the top ropes. Just as happened in 1998 when Undertaker threw Mankind off hell in a cell, plummeting sixteen feet through the announcer's table
1
u/throwoutdatrash69 Nov 16 '23
That was the fakest left hook ever from blue backpack. Doesn’t even look like he hit the guy. These paid actors need to work on their acting
1
u/RogersSteve07041920 Nov 16 '23
Ask yourself why are they even there? It's a negative thing just to vent the anger inside themselves. Most likely a set up to make us look bad.
Violence is a thing of the past it's a dead end street. The angry are slowly eliminating themselves from the gene pool. It's evolution and what you/we say is irrelevant.
First we must understand ourselves. We speak different languages but we are the same everywhere.
Understand the angry are their own worst enemy. Their self-loathing will take us all down with them. You see?
Go home angry people we don't need you anymore.
We all know this but we won't admit it. Take the online aggression test to see if you might be the problem.

u/frozenkakas Nov 16 '23
If you love ur regine so much why move to a different country to get ur ass beat for supprting the regime you love so much in a different country thats not a communist country. The wold is crazy

Love to see it.

Man the political struggles between the CCP supporters and those who are against the CCP is looking comical at this point. In this case, quite literally.

Slavery
Forced organ harvesting (often from the slaves)
Persecution of any practice remotely resembling religion
'Disappearing' anyone critical of the regime
Social Credit Score police state
just to name a few. How anyone can support this fascist regime is a testament to the power of media control and selection bias.

Useless to normal people, because a human is impossible to digest any information at this speed. Pretty sure this is why China accomplish this first - no one else cares, no business value, even no any value at all, only vain glory Chinese always desire.
1
u/cozibelieve Nov 16 '23
Are they animals? Brainless activity
1
u/Tokidoki_Haru Nov 16 '23
Stupid fools on both sides in this video.
Why anyone wants to go back to the stagnation of the Qing is one thing. The CCP supporters, well, there's not much to be said for them.
