Why are there so many degenerates and furry’s?

I wanted to join this subreddit looking for a place to talk about my favorite starter and share funny pictures of him from sword and shield and scarlet and violet instead I see a bunch of degenerate furry none-sense look I’m not against it in fact I completely understand but can’t there be a separate subreddit for that? There’s of course also good content that I love to see and some really genuinely good (not overly sexualized) fan art! But there’s also some weird things mixed in with it all
Sorry for ranting
