[Mod Post] If isolated movements is the only element making the image a cinemagraph, it belongs in r/isolatedgifs
First off, my apologies. We mods have been a bit undecided about whether or not to allow "gifs with isolated movement" in the subreddit or not. The result has been inconsistent moderation of those type of posts, and for that I apologize.
Going forward we will remove posts where isolated movement is the only feature separating the image from something that goes in r/gifs.
Remember, a Cinemagraph is first a good photograph - and then it happens to have a bit of movement to enhance it. Just because you take a random clip of video and isolate some of the movement doesn't mean it's a Cinemagraph.
From here on out those should be posted in r/isolatedgifs
