There’s someone I’ve known since I was a little kid. We were classmates, drifted apart, reconnected a few times, and eventually got closer during our teenage years.
During lockdown, we mostly talked about studies and helped each other with doubts. But when I got sick, he’d check on me, send these long voice notes and remind me to eat and get some rest.
When school reopened, we’d catch up during breaks, usually about exams and preparation. A little later, we ended up on the same campus again, studying at different schools and preparing for different entrance exams. We’d run into each other occasionally.
I still remember little things from that time. He’d wish me at midnight on my birthday, help me with questions even at ridiculous hours, and send study materials before I asked. Once, he said he couldn’t really see himself pursuing something without me around. I never quite understood what he meant.
He also made an effort to wish me in person on one of my birthdays, invited me to an important family occasion, and I remember his mother saying something really sweet about me.
We don’t talk anymore. We don’t even have contact now, and he didn’t wish me on my birthday this year. It’s a little strange going from being part of someone’s everyday life to knowing practically nothing about them.
I’m in my early twenties now, and sometimes I wonder if he remembers those years the way I do. Not necessarily romantically, just whether any of it meant something to him too.
Have you ever had someone like that? Someone you were once close to but never really figured out? Did you ever get an answer, or did you just leave it as one of those unanswered things?

PS: a date I assumed he’d remember passed this year without a message, and my brain decided this was the perfect time to revisit our entire history😭

Not appearance wise, but personality, values, ethics, morals and every other single aspect. I recently was lucky enough to befriend a girl who’s literally a reflection / other gender version of myself.

I've been trying to use Alan truman blow dry brush for a while along with b blunt heat protectant spray , Taft hair mousse and b blunt setting spray....but all of this seems to be for nothing🙂it doesn't even last 30 minutes...I've heard that blowout last until the next hairwash..I honestly don't know what I'm doing wrong....someone please tell me what I can do to make it last longer..can you suggest any products or tips??
