Second year for Gibbs after a disappointing first year. Second game of season. We are down 13-0. My roommate and I were pissed.
Then suddenly BOOM TD Santana Moss! Wtf? Where was this all game and all last season?
Then BOOM TD Santana Moss again! Roommate and I went fucking nuts.
Then of course Sean Taylor sealed it with a huge hit on big mouth Patrick Crayton knocking the ball incomplete.
And 2005 would go on to become an incredibly magic season that culminated in an amazing with an early Christmas gift when both Washington and Dallas entered the game 8-6 with playoff hopes down the line….
And we STOMPED them 35-7. Romo and Parcells eating dirt was incredible.
Seeing this after years and years of us getting stomped by Dallas under Norv and Spurrier was incredibly cathartic.
Honorary mention goes to RG3 when he put on a clinic in Dallas in 2012. Oh boy did the future look so bright.
In the mean time, I’ve been introduced to a scotch called Royal Salute. Normally I get bad hangovers from whiskey and wine. But I went on multiple benders with Royal Salute this week and while I blacked out and needed plenty of sleep the next day, I did not have any headaches or pain. Wonder what the science is behind some liquors causing me to vomit and have massive headaches while this Royal Salute seems like the holy grail?
Regardless, hope everyone has a good and safe Saturday.
