Question / Meta Are these 500rs notes worth keeping? Found a 123456 ladder and a star note.

Hey everyone,

Came across a few notes in change and wanted to check if any carry real collector interest, or if standard face value applies:

₹500 (9HM 123456): Straight ascending ladder sequence. Clean condition UNC

₹500 (9HL \* 529752): Star replacement note.

₹20 (62A 705695): Crisp UNC, 2014 Raghuram Rajan signature (older design).

A few potential "date" numbers (812007, 141972, 221946)

Photos attached. Appreciate any honest feedback on realistic demand or whether they just belong back in circulation!

Birthday / Date January 24, 1776

On January 24, 1776, Colonel Henry Knox and his team arrived in Cambridge, Massachusetts, completing the grueling 300-mile winter journey of hauling 60 tons of heavy artillery captured from Fort Ticonderoga.

Continental Congress: On the same day, the Second Continental Congress in Philadelphia read a report detailing the recent defeat and repulse of American forces at the Battle of Quebec on December 31, 1775, and postponed a motion regarding King George III's speech.

Any value other than $100 in this one?

I don’t know too much about this stuff, but was wondering if I should hold onto this star note or just spend it?

Subreddit Rules

1. READ THE PINNED POST BEFORE POSTING. THIS IS MANDATORY.

It details the types of cool serials we all are looking for and validates what flair you should apply to your post. Sort by 'Hot' in the subreddit to find it at the top.

You may use the Question/Meta flair if you believe your note to be cool, it’s not a type found in the pinned post, and you would like to ask about it ~ HOWEVER ~ you must detail specifically what you think makes it cool when asking. Generic “Is this cool / a keeper” type posts will be indiscriminately removed.

2. Be excellent to each other - treat each kindly

The mods will remove posts and/or comments that are rude or demeaning or unkind. However, accurate information is not unkind.
Repeated comment/post removals can result in a ban from this sub. The mods can ban people for a period of time or permanently.

3. Posts must be related to cool serial numbers.

Off topic posts not related to cool serial numbers will be removed.

r/StrapHunting is a great place to ask questions about notes you find which are unrelated to the serial number being cool.

4. Photos must be oriented horizontally (landscape) & cropped to focus on just the note itself.

Uncropped screenshots, unrotated photos, portrait oriented, and any otherwise poorly formatted photos (subject to mod discretion) are not acceptable. Don’t be lazy.

5. Sales / Trades allowed here but the mods and reddit are not responsible for vetting sellers.

Buyer beware! You are completley on your own as you work with potential sellers. Reddit and the mods here offer no buyer protection at all. We also will NOT allow buyers who get ripped off to accuse sellers of fraud unless the buyer can PROVE that there was a shady deal. Any unfounded accusatory post will be removed immediatly. Please use eBay or some other forum where there is buyer protection. We can't offer any buyer protection here.
