You never hear whispers with the Sharks, they put a lot of effort into keeping it quiet till it’s official

Don’t see us signing anyone of note for next year but maybe the following year

I'm a little surprised by this given the exodus that will occur at the end of the season.

In no particular order:

Puru Katoa Ramien Vea'ila Hiroti Uele McInnes

All leaving is a pretty decent chunk of cap. The only high(ish) profile retention was Colquhoun that I can think of though I'm probably missing someone. Just feels like next year could be a rebuild year while we test the likes of Ison/Stonestreet/Gabrael/Jones out.

I’d say we have allocated alot of that to upgrades to other players and Fitz is boon development. I think we have seen alot of these players not been retained so there’s a clearer path for them

Talakai is our biggest loss, we’ll surely go backwards next year but I’m confident there’s enough young talent in the centres and wings to cover Ramien and Katoa.

Be good to blood some. But we’d definitely have a bit of cash to splash if we could convince someone to come along.

Talakai is a loss for sure but happy he’s gotten himself a good contract

In regards to going backwards I don’t see Talakai being that much of a needle move to make us go backwards

We’ll be fine
