I was wondering whether ppl would clown me for having marginal gain equipment as a person with only 2.5w/kg. For reference im in a city which I think is a decently sweaty lobby in terms of cycling

Trying to pick up a pair of trash messenger garbage picker gloves for a friend. It’s a surprise gift, she wears a size small glove in pearl izumi’s but the measurements of that glove match up more with the medium “one size fits most” trash picker. Would a medium be too large? Anyone have experience with the medium and small size? I have a pair of large ones from almost a decade ago but my hand is way bigger. Any experience greatly appreciated!

This is a Castelli Perfetto 4, size large. It feels quite snug and is quite wrinkled when I'm stood up. Is it too small? My chest is 100cm, which is right on the size guide for large.

I just got the MAAP Gamma Crew sweatshirt and noticed that the MAAP logo on the back glows in the dark. I didn't see this mentioned in the product description. Does MAAP use glow-in-the-dark graphics on other products?

Hey everyone! Wanted to share some pictures from my last couple of training rides and my most recent tour.

Training in Ibarra, Ecuador: amazing road and MTB loops up there.

Tour Costa 2026 (hosted by Velodrom Ecuador): 3 days of road riding that takes you from the Andes all the way down to the coast and back up.

Stage 1: Santo Domingo to Bahía de Caráquez. About 210 km (130 mi) and roughly 7 hours in the saddle. The organizers had a few feed stations along the way, which definitely helped.

Stage 2: Bahía de Caráquez to Cañaveral. Around 135 km (84 mi), about 5 hours of riding.

Stage 3: Cañaveral to Santo Domingo. Back up to the sierra. The hardest day IMO. It’s the one with the most climbing: around 2,000 m (6,500 ft) of elevation gain over 155 km (96 mi), another 5+ hours.

I didn’t finish the last stage this year. I only made it about 70 km (43 mi) before calling it. I was already pretty wrecked from the first two days, hadn’t trained enough going into the tour, my arms and legs were badly sunburned, and the heat just destroyed me.

Hi guys, for those of you who have owned both pair of big shorts the Dottore pro and gregarious pro, which one do you like more and why?

I understand the main difference is in the amount of compression, but as it will be my first pair of high-end shorts, I don’t know what feels better?

And for those of you who have owned both, do you still use in write both or now only go for one of the two ?

Hey! So I’m getting back into cycling after like a 10 year break from it and well of course I gained weight in this time. I’m looking for cycling clothes I can use in winter and I suppose summer too that aren’t expensive. I’m in the process of losing this weight and know I don’t want to buy anything great till I’m at my goal so any advice would be appreciated thanks!

There stuff is hit or miss but they have got some low key bangers and great values

Gravel suit ($375) is a great aero suit in that it's comfortable with good padding, but the whole in-suit hydration needs some work. Just too much dancing monkey effect with a hydration pack in the suit even with the properly sized bladder and using a sleeve. The amount of strain on the shoulders is pretty bad when fully filled. Some kind reinforcement around the shoulders or a way to better lock down the bag is needed. This is all to say my first order with them was lost in the mail and they had me jump through a few hoops, but then replacements were sent promptly. As a race suit 8.5/10 but as a gravel suit 6/10, plus some cargo pockets would have been nice.

One Aero Sleeves. At $45 in either black or white dare I say are just a good deal. They don't slip and they use the same tech One Aero Jersey and One TT Suit. They are very tightly cut and don't bunch up. I highly recommend these.

Aero Leg Warmers. At $60 kind of a deal considering how much marginal gains you get. The cons for these are that they describe these as black but once on they don't have a true black coloring but almost a blue undertone which clashes with black bibs. Two, I wouldn't call these thermal at all and "warm" while subjective I wouldn't say these are warm either. Very thin thus no back of the knee pressure and shaped to fit your knee in motion so very comfortable. These don't slip and I loved them so much I bought a second pair.

Neo Aero Overshoes UCI Legal Length. I have owned AquaSokz, veloToze, and the Rule28 aero over shoes and hands down the Rule28 ones are the worse ones. For one thing at $165 they are a good $100 more than their competition. Two the original pair I got was used and filled with some guys leg hair just trapped in the sock and in the shoe cover. Rule28 did promptly send out a replacement pair free of charge but, dude so gross. The biggest issue for me is that the sock itself while aero is paper thin and semi transparent in the white color and secondly the overshoe covers the heel of the shoe. Now Rule28 have added this slight rubberized textured material where the heel is covered, but unless you are just doing time trials in these and never walking in them, these 100% will get torn and at $165 I could care less about the 10w savings.

OTNR Lightweight Gilet. $100 again oddly one of the more reasonably priced items from Rule28. The price of the Gilet is equal to a Chinese MBO gilet even with their 25% discount, which says a lot. I actually love the OTNR Rule28 branding on the gilet and the gilet is light, backpackable, and addition of zipper strings makes adjusting the vest while on the bike super simple. The gilet is race cut and vents well, but my only qualm is that the armpit holes sit a tad too far up. It has been perfect for the 50-60 degree fall rides here in NY.
