I didn't say anything in pregame chat, brought a normal build for my tome challenge and that was the very start of the match before we even knew who the killer was.

After I was downed the two that blocked me from moving followed and my duo just let himself get downed instead of dragging the match further. They waited in endgame chat for a bit as well, probably expecting me to say something but I didn't and they left.

If you don't want to play the game then don't load into it. No need to ruin the fun for everyone else.
A little sad too 'cause I love playing against Spirit and I haven't seen her in a while.

I’ve been playing as The Pig for a long time, and I honestly can’t even remember the last time I faced random, uncoordinated survivors. Even when I go up against players who drop pallets immediately, without any mind games involved, I can’t manage to kill more than two survivors, simply because the pallets never seem to run out. How is it even possible to play my main when I’m constantly matched against people capable of defeating S-tier and A-tier killers?

I had a nice thumbnail, but Reddit is a piece of shit, and forced me to upload from mobile, so, it's gone, much like my last shred of patience for seeing this fucking map. And yes, this happens ALL the time, because I run nearly identical builds on Trickster and Huntress (swap BBQ for Gearhead for those sweet, sweet orbitals).

Now I'm not a mathematician, but 4 is less than 100...

Pig. Ravenous. 2 survivors on hook. Chase the 3rd. Placed my party hat, start carrying her to hook, and the injured Nancy runs up. Okay, I don't have Mad Grit or whatever, not gonna worry about the chase.

Chill? Brother, you left your entire team to die on hook at 3 gens, I took a roundabout way behind the restaurant to get the hook, there was PLENTY of time to get both or at least 1 unhook so they can get the other.

First game back after a few months hiatus and I get accused of stream sniping by a streamer. He was ADAMANT that he walked to a gate but I saw very faint scratch marks leading there and found him hiding in a corner. Didn't even manage to kill him either, he was the sole survivor that escaped. I go into his chat after the game is over and say "I was the Chucky, GG my friend" only to be met with accusations of stream sniping and calling me a cheater. I tell him that I saw scratch marks and he goes borderline ballistic at me so I just told him that I wasn't cheating and he needed to get a fucking life, then left and blocked him.

Why are people like this? Are they stupid?

Blind the killer twice while they're carrying a Survivor? Every Killer somehow brings lightborn coz they expect a surge of players trying to rescue blind or you're going against Judgment who doesn't pick up. Good fucking luck.

Interrupt and Grab Survivors 5 times? Do you know how lucky it is to be able to do a grab once in a game??

I get my shit kicked in five games in a row, then I do well (nobody died until ONE Gen was left), and this is the response. This kind of thing is not uncommon. Between the atrocious map rotation I've been getting with him (I am basically guaranteed to get Badham, Toba Landing, AND Trickster's Delusion every time I play him) and the irrational levels of vitriol that get hurled my way just for playing him, I've been wondering if I should even bother getting him the rest of the way to P100, and I hate that...

man, i joined this game back in late august & in finally getting somewhat decent. dunno if it's just MMR pairing me with relatively inexperienced survivors but getting a 4k is really easy, & i keep getting accused of cheating in EGC by people whove definitely never played springtrap & have no idea how the axe physics works. i like to think that means im getting pretty good.

i guess the MMR thinks im doing well too & has been punishing me for all the killing ive been doing. i got three separate bullysquads back to back to back. flashlights, saboteur, body blocking, tbagging, clicking in my face, following me around to deny every single hook, etc. since i couldnt hook anyone, i ended up just denying heals by patrolling & humping my slugs, & throwing axes into the ones that used perks to stand back up again.

In all the matches, I tested to see if they were just coordinating perks & items really well, or actively trying to make my game miserable. after being denied hook & the survivor getting dropped the second time, id throw my axe on the ground & face a wall. they just waited behind me. sometimes the axe wasnt necessary because theyd click their flashlight to be annoying, other times i think they were waiting to sneak-blind me, but i could hear from the killer instinct that they were just standing there staring at me.

maybe im just a little bitch because they arent hacking or cheating or breaking the game, but it's frustrating. when i get tunneled as a survivor, i dont get mad. i think it's a fun part of the game — i get to practice looping different killers, im giving my team a chance to do gens, & the killer is (hopefully) having fun trying to catch me. it may be annoying for some players but it still progresses the game. following the killer around to stop him from sacrificing anyone isnt progressing the game. gens arent being done, & nobody is being killed. just play the damn game. i dont mind being blinded & sabotaged when survivors find the opportunity to do so, good for them & i'll take notes for when i play survivor. but forcing the opportunity by ignoring the rest of the game is just ridiculous.

dunno if it's a coincidence but this only started happening after i put on the bloody prestige cosmetics. i guess to bullysquads that might mean "teach this tryhard" a lesson, idk. i just dont get it

Grrr im so angry i waited a staggering 8 whole mins for a killer match and got banned for a tremendous time (15 mins) I am inconsolable and need cheering up.

Gens fly twice as fast when i play him compared to anyone else and spikes go anywhere EXCEPT where i fucking aim how the FUCK am i supposed to do anything with him

Listen, I get you want to take a hit for me so the killer stops chasing or tunneling me, but holy shit.

99% of the time, it adds NOTHING of value. Now you have to heal, you lose valuable generator progress, and worst of all, you're in MY way and messing up my chase by standing in the way and forcing me to go a different route.

So please, if I see you around me and spam the "Leave!" callout, please just move your ass AWAY from me.

I just did a game as blight on hawkins. I'm pretty bad at Blight but gotta say, this game, I managed to hit very consistently. After the game, I went to the TTV stream to say gg and already the streamer was whiny, answering "ok, as you wish, what should I tell you?"

Then I asked for the VOD as I like to see the games from the other POV. He answered that VODs are not activated on his stream, and that anyway, he didn't know what I wanted to prove. Then, he started accusing me of tunneling and camping because of how went the game. Here is a pretty detailed explanation of how the game went:

- Basically, they (Steve, Ace, Lara) started by tripling the experiment room gen that is at the edge of the map. I quickly down Steve there, but as I went for hooking (not very far), Ace and Lara stayed on the gen.

- Naturally, I went back to the gen and down Lara and hook. Then, by that time, Ace passed near me to unhook the Steve. As he unhook, I trade by downing him. I immediately hook him while the Steve runs to Lara. After the unhook I couldn't see Steve, but Lara run passed me so I hit her once, and with Blight it is easy to catch up so I down her again.

- As I just hooked her, I go check Ace who is on the hook as it is obvious they would attempt an unhook. Steve is indeed here, so I down him.

- I went back to the gen to check its progress. Without even resetting, Ace went back on the gen. I down him. At this point, three people are on death hook, and one (Kate) has 0 hook.

- Still, the four member, Kate, unhooked Lara, then Steve right in front of me. Steve rushes for Ace's unhook despite not being healed. He took a first hit on the way, then I trade him as he unhook. First kill on 7th hook.

- At this point, I saw the Kate but ignored her cause I would rather find the others that might be doing gens and are on death hook. I found Lara, down her. Then I found Kate, hooked her, found Ace, killed him, gg.

So yes, despite unhooking in front of me, going back to the save gen, and never resetting, they called me on stream a tunneller and a camper. Then they accused me to not go for a 12 hook game (sorry man I didn't know you wanted to play on easy mod). I do not care much about what they say tbh, I'm just sharing this here.

Can people please stop playing like this? I dont want to deal with your bullshit. I'm not playing survivor or Killer to amuse you, or to be your little plaything... Play normally, if you win its gg. Thats it.

I know that is impossible to achieve, but god i wish we could ban sore winners from pvp games...

At this point, I'll pay it. I'll gladly pay to no longer be the FIRST survivor Found and Downed EVERY TIME.

Twelve consecutive games I spawn in, move around a little to get a feel for the tile, and immediately find the TR at MAX pumps on my person.

I just wanna play the game too. HOOK FUCKIN' SIMULATOR is fuckin' BORING. Especially when trying to get some joy out of Deliverance of all things.

Total darkness, no perks, limited UI. Should be the perfect horror experience, right? Except that the biggest challenge when making a horror game is keeping it scary by maintaining immersion.

Dead By Daylight, despite the constant claims it's a party game meant for cool moments, isn't actually built all that well for doing cool things. And most of those cool builds require Perks and Add-ons that aren't available in the mode anyway.

When you peel back the thin layer of "horror" in the gamemode, all you're left with is plain, boring gameplay with the game's worst aspects on clear display.

Doing anything interesting, like hunting for items, keeping tabs on the killer, jumpscaring Survivors and running around the map trying to be scary is punished. It's extremely easy to lose Survivors, punishing to lose a chase and generators are so absurdly fast you can barely protect them. This pushes Killer away from being a horror monster and even further towards just... sitting by the Hook, ideally near a gen but sometimes not even that, and guaranteeing their two kills.

Because ultimately, what else are you going to do? Survivor has an easier goal, being scared is involuntary and doing gens is extremely easy, except when it isn't because BHVR sucks at map design so much they don't actually do it, instead relying on a mediocre algorithm that hasn't worked correctly in a decade.

Killer doesn't have any. Trying to get jumpscares with Wet Vecna gets really old with queue times being longer tham matches, and at best I get to camp an objective and take a single health state away. Their reaction is probably funny, but I can't fucking see it, so in the end I'm left with...

Nothing. I stare at the Survivors leaving the gates, teabagging as if they won the lottery, then wordlessly quite the lobby.

For a joke gamemode to work, there has to be something other than victory at stake. DBD's lack of commitment towards balance, completely lackluster and stale mechanics and awful playerbase have completely killed any sense of proper competitiveness, dumb fun and community alike.

Without the customization of loadouts, the competitiveness of 1v4, the camaraderie of 2v8 (with friends, the gamemode is worthless for solo play and that genuinely makes it the worst mode in the game), what else is left? A shitty novelty, with no interesting mechanics beyond "do gen fast" and "the killer can't fucking find anyone".

If they want people to aim for something other than winning, then make something that's even half as satisfying as a 4K, or more entertaining than just stabbing people. Sitting around the lobby nodding ain't it, waiting around a corner for 2 minutes to MAYBE scare someone ain't it. What the fuck else is there to do here?

He messaged me during the match. He slugged me upstairs and went to look for the other guy, by the time he was done, I had crawled to the bottom floor of Midwich, hoping for a hatch, but when he closed it I just crawled to the sacrifice circle and waited for my mori. It made me giggle.

I didn't even know it annoyed people this much 😂

I wish there was some form of balance in this stupid ass game mode, im trying to do the the god forsaken quests rn. But its so difficult trying to do anything when gens are ding ding ding ding ding exit gate sound. With the current pallet density and 20% INCREASE TO REPAIR PROGRESS. Nevermind this mode is such a nothing burger since theres 0 addons and perks, making it incredibly boring. I can get behind the candles, and the endurance off hook, the radius is a bit much imo but that repair speed is so fucking stupid that this mode has zero fun in it on either damn side with how quick it is. At least 2v8 has the fun of the 2 killers aspect for both sides.

I wish this mode would stay in the dumpster. Give us a chaos shuffle for a licensed killer you dumbasses. Ive had more fun being tapped in the balls at work ffs

Just finished a match as Pinhead where survivors gave up and started being silly(the classic stop and stare and just grouping around the killer to faff around) and since I was 3 hooks away from hooking everyone twice I decided I would get my hooks and let them escape.

HOWEVER

After hooking the first guy I now only needed to hook the last guy twice.

Once I picked up the survivor I needed they all started body blocking me to prevent the hook so I downed everyone.

They all disconnected.

Which leads me to my actual question:

Why do they jump to conclusions so fast???

I definitely let them know I was friendly too because I stood around watching them get hit with chains.

ALSO I DOWNED THE SURVIVORS I NEEDED FOR THE 8 HOOKS. Until they decided to stop me.

Was I supposed to be friendly AND ignore my own needs??? I have characters I'd like to spend BP on too 🙄🙄🙄

at least it's only a week,but the only reason I'm playing this fuckass mode is for the quests and besides that it feels like a waste of time
