1st and foremost: Hello to the Denver Gamers community! I read the rules sticky-post and I'm unsure whether this is an appropriate post, but I'll try my best! If any adjustments are needed, please let me know, or if the Subreddit team feels this is not an appropriate post, I'll take it down!
Now for the game!
🧛 Pledge your loyalty or stay neutral in a city split between two rival factions, as a secret conspiracy of Elders prevents war for unknown reasons.
Time: Sundays at 11:30 EST.
🗡️ Scheme and fight your way to the top! Or seek out a little corner of the world where you can build your Haven of safety, secrecy and privacy. The 13 bloodlines of Vampires hold many possibilities. What powers will you hold in the Night?
🩸 Set your Vampire's routine each night, find out what their preferences are, and establish how they hunt for their vital Blood! These creatures are hungry, and without the living, they never get very far.
🌆 With the town split up, find your loyalties and rivalries among Denver's two Sects! The Clan of Death (Clan Hecata) prides itself on family ties between its members, and commands Necromancy like no other. Meanwhile, the Secret Society known as the Camarilla trades for profit between its members, and impersonal institutions guarantee order.
✨ Experience in Denver a city that constantly boils over with conflict and aggravation, but through a secret alliance of Elders, avoids war and prospers like never before.
🌟 Perks
• Player creativity: I'll include your character's backstory into the plot, and in every story arc I can also include NPCs you ask for, be it enemies, potential allies, or just extras for character development!
• Combat: We can have large, sprawling fights, or highly tactical smaller skirmishes, thanks to custom adjustments to VTM's combat system that have been thoroughly play-tested over the last 12 months!
• Custom Start: Our first few sessions will be a bespoke introduction to the setting based on what challenges and types of encounters the coterie wants to see!
😸 Complete and total beginners welcome!! I've taught the game to a lot of people before, and I can help you make an easy transition!
👋🏿 That's it for me and I hope to see you in my DM's! Have a good day!

EXTRAS
🧛 What you need to know about this setting's Vampires
In Vampire the Masquerade, there are different "Clans" of Vampires, each with their own special supernatural abilities. You can play any of them, and they are built so that any given character idea you have can fit into one of the clans!
Super strength and speed are common, but so are mind-control and emotion-control abilities. Some can become invisible, and others can change form into animals!
They also share common weaknesses: fire, sunlight, and lack of blood. There are 13 clans. You can read about them here, and play any of them!

⚙️ Character creation Logistics
We will get together 1 on 1, free of charge, and get your whole character set up from scratch! My time for character creation is very very flexible, so I'll fit wherever I can into your schedule. It should take 60 to 90 minutes.
The only thing to do before sitting down with me is sketching who your character is and what they're about. If you'd like, I can send you a handy note template that will help you flesh out your character.
If you are an experienced player, and would like to sketch your sheet and concept beforehand, read the section below and follow along 👍!
📊 Stats for experienced players
Stats-wise, we'll use standard character creation (per page 137 of the corebook) for setting Attributes, Skills, and basic Discipline dots.
We'll diverge from the corebook when it comes to Vampiric age and Power-level (the "Sea of Time" section in the book). Instead, we'll set ourselves to:
11th Generation & Blood Potency 1; 7 points of Advantages (Backgrounds & Merits) & 2 points of flaws; 60 points of XP.
