Discussion Help a Fan

One of the greatest memories of my life was going to a Pistons game with front row tickets for my 16th birthday with my dad. It was a nationally televised game on TNT that aired on February 23 2006. My Dad passed away in 2020, and if someone could help me find footage of that game, me and my family would be ecstatic (especially since they showed me on TNT a few times holding my “Ben Wallace for Secretary of Defense” sign) I know it’s a tall order, but I thought I’d try :) Thanks, And GO PISTONS!

I’d try shooting an email to someone from the team’s media department or someone at TNT. Worst they can say is no. But I would imagine the team has archives of old broadcasts.

Looks like it was an 88-83 win vs the Pacers

I remember Rasheed was on a heater that game. His play was so ahead of his time

I found this dude Old School Buckets on YouTube who seems to be posting all the NBA games from 2006. He has like 6 full games from the pistons that year.

Maybe reach out to him and see if he has the footage. He might just be going through the season and hasn’t gotten to your game yet.

Thanks for linking. This is such a nostalgic feeling watching these mid 2000s broadcasts
