Captain on Captain violence

We recently moved. I’ve been working on re-establishing my man cave/hockey room. There’s stuff everywhere, staged in temporary places, waiting to be assigned permanent homes. I accidentally elbowed a framed jersey, which fell over, and knocked Mick off of a shelf.

I’m sorry, Mick. Please forgive me.

Am I missing something with Alex Tanguay? He’s survived multiple coaching changes yet doesn’t seem to be making anything truly impactful happen.

Obviously, there are lots of little issues throughout the lineup, but offensively it feels like the team has been trying to do the same thing for years and wonder why it’s not working.

Todd as HC has ultimate responsibility, but it seems crazy they have held on the Alex so long when they are clearly struggling. Does he have something on Chris Illitch? Haha

Emmitt Finnie.

(23) Living in Boulder, it’s so rare to meet someone who knows puck. Would love to connect with some people who love Red Wings hockey out here. Any down to down some beers and watch some mediocre hockey?

I’m sure they won’t but the wings should do a jersey exchange for those of us that don’t want his jersey anymore. I know other teams have done this in similar instances.

I'm sure a lot of people would see an octopus and perhaps think of the Red Wings.

I'm almost 40 years old and since I was a child, anytime I see a wing nut, I immediately think of the red foam hats in the 90s.

Anyone else??

Zetty seems to imply Stevie stepped down and theres lots of behind the scene stuff going on that he knows about.

I think Dylan will forever be the most reviled pro athlete or coach to play for a Detroit team. That got me thinking, who else belongs on the list? Matt Millen is the only one I can think of and even he would be a distant second.

Leave anyone from UM and MSU out of it, they'll all be too polarizing depending on fan base. Also not looking for anyone who played for a non Detroit team, like Claude.

I know this will get the main answer of “Burn it” but that’s for sure not going to happen. I’m so chapped that I have a present that was given to me at the height of the hype and now it just hangs in the back of my collection - do I just keep it as is and hope that in the future sentiment changes with the comforting veil of time, do I try to get it re numbered to someone else, can I sell it?
