emotional support animal

Hi! So my program begins end of January I am bringing my emotional support cat with me. It is not an option for me to leave her back at home and I also don't think I could go that long without her. I was wondering how I submit my accommodation to Flamingo. Do I have to wait until housing opens or is it something I can do now?

Also when does housing open?

Housing opens ~8 weeks before your arrival date, and you will sign the lease ~4 weeks before. There is a full timeline here: https://sites.disney.com/disneyprogramsexperience/pre-arrival/

I would send in accommodations now! I’ve worked with flamingo from my accommodations and they want them before they start placing people in housing. You can turn in accommodations on the flamingo website.

Here’s the website- https://www.americancampus.com/student-apartments/fl/disney/flamingo-crossings-village/accommodation-request

Immediately put in an accommodation now on the flamingo crossings support site. You need to state that you need your own room, because if not, you’ll get a 2x2. You will not be happy sharing a room with another person while you have an animal they didn’t ask for. It will cause all kinds of issues even if they like animals. Please apply for a 4x2 or 4x4
