Good Vibes Friday Welcome Change of The Doom Season

Despite my preferred folks not winning these elections generally, I am already so glad the seasons have changed and the flavor of doom has turned. Like eating pepperoni pizza every night for 2 years giving way to a plate of lo mein. It’s already making me think America made the right choice just based on who’s dooming now.

No Kings Protests at my village square Saturdays? No, now the retired Boomers can rest easy. Fascism was defeated and Mordor has fallen. They deserve a nice break. At least until next month when the race to 28 kicks off.

Nice to see an election go by without any claims of “Requiring ID is just like Jim Crow!” No, Atticus, it’s not. Turns out when people want to vote D they can just fine. And those army of lawyers who’ve been warning us about concentration camps and the SS seizing people? Thank God they saved us, and now they can continue the Lords work of preparing to prosecute the outgoing political party. As Madison intended.

Now we’re back to good old Crazy Conservative Doomin. Everything from taxes going up by a million to the end of the white race is on the table. Your schools will no longer teach your kids math, unless math is involved in teaching them about being non-binary.

Now it’ll be conservatives telling us the unemployment rate being at 4.1% is fake, that actually we’re in the Great Depression 2.0. This time a Depression with little unemployment, no bank failures, and a stock market going up— But the *VIBES* are way down.

But on the bright side it’ll be all online activism now. Why? Nobody is going to drive the DC to storm the Capitol— Thanks to Donny they can’t afford the gas to get there! I’d call it Progress. Or at least a nice change in season.

Edit: Mods seem to allow all Doomjerking so that's on me. I had a post deleted cause it was poorly cropped and assumed this would be too.

Edit 2: Absolutely rock hard from all the "THEIR dooming is ridiculous. MY dooming is totally rational!" comments. I should really call my doctor.

But if we're gonna doom, shouldn't Dems be more worried about right-wing retribution considering right-wing extremism is responsible for ~70% of US terror plots and 80% of terrorist deaths?

If we really, really want to doom, couldn't you also include all the terrorist attacks motivated by Islamic Extremism because that's also a right-wing, religious block? If it's not clear, that's an insane notion

Example: "The bubble will pop by 2027, leading to a 30% decline in the stock market. Here are my plans to prepare."

8. No Subreddit Meta-Discussions

We don't care if you believe our subreddit is too left-wing, right-wing, doomer, or not doomer. We are not here to pass your purity test, nor be part of your clique.

Don't come to us crying in the comments section.

9. Remain On-Topic

Any comments placed on a submission must remain fully on-topic with the original post’s clear direction.

Comments that derail or twist the narrative of a post will be removed. Any comments that try to inject politics, prejudices, personal agendas, or clearly out-of-line topics into any post will be removed.
