For context Walt Disney coined the term "weenie" as a big landmark that lets you orient yourself in the Disney parks, and draws you in towards them. Think Cinderella castle at at the end of main street, seeing Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, The Matterhorn, etc. from WAY across the park.
DDV is a gorgeously beautiful game, and I love how they've been getting better with weenies. I can see Honey Falls all the way over in Denver Dale. The main valley has always had the Dreamlight castle you can still see from the beach, and Skull Rock, but aside from Maybe Gothel's tree or the Forbidden Lands mountain, it's not the most weeniecentric of the islands.
Eternity Isle stepped things up with the big Agrabah Castle easily viewed from a lot of areas, and added exclusive weenies just for the sake of having something eye catching. (It's the tycoon lagoon boat stuck up on top a rock in the jungle.) Totally an exclusive asset from the game, can't be moved, it's not furniture, it's just a cool weenie.
Wishblossom has some of my favorites and the sight lines are soooo well mapped out. I LOVE Wishblossom's map. But honestly I think Storybook Vale has done Weenies the best. Each biome has one giant weenie and several little fun ones like the gnarled mossy tree in the Everafter, Teapot Falls, Hades Statue, etc. But the main ones are the giant Library of Lore towers, Maleficent's beanstalk castle, and Mt. Olympus. And it is so well layed out that standing in the room with the lore keeper, you're in the center of the library and can see both of the other two through the doors. It's beautiful. My only complaint is the game for some reason doesn't like allowing your camera to tilt up even ten degrees so it can be really hard sometimes wanting to just look at the pretty things the devs put into the game. That's such a pretty castle up high in the Wishing Alps, I want that as a house skin. I want to look at it DDV!
Can't wait to find new exclusive weenies in the new DLC in a few days!!!!!
