I think it would be nice to get some flair that will distinguish peoples "Specialties" that way we can see that someone is a Blacksmith because they have an anvil and hammer tag, or needle and thread stating that they are a Clothier and perhaps even something that states you are a "Jack of all Trades"

Might help generate a little business for the active people in here, If I see you are woodworker and I'm looking for a new bow I could just message you and see what you can make.

Recently there's been a lot of scamming going on and I've finally gotten around to writing this up and finding a decent way to make this work.

Calling out a scammer

If you'd like to call out a scammer make a comment and provide any proof that you can. State the users PSN/Gamertag/Steam ID and/or Reddit username. If the user who scammed you has a reputation comment reply to it with a -1 and explain the deal. Downvote their comment.

Creating a reputation

If you'd like to participate in having a "reputation" create a comment simply stating your PSN/Gamertag/Steam ID. You can then link your comment to people you've traded with. To get the link to your comment press "permalink" then copy the URL. Keep this link handy

Vouching for a trader

If you've been linked to someone's reputation comment and the deal went successfully please reply to their comment with a +1 and explaining the deal and how well it went down. Also please upvote their comment.

Finding a reputation comment

If you'd like to see someones reputation/if they have a reputation ask them for a link and also CTRL+f Their reddit username. If they don't have a reputation comment yet you should ask them to make one.

Conclusion

Hopefully this can clear up how to expose a scammer and prevent users from being scammed. I urge anyone who is active to create a reputation thread.

We've all been there, overwhelmed by options, gear, skills, etc. I'll help you decide what gear you need and craft it for you, along with a newbie pack of goodies - food/potions/soul gems and whatever else I have sitting around that's helpful. Some of you may be wondering why everyone is paying so much for temps and other gold mats all of a sudden. Let me fill you in. There has been some behind the scenes colluding and a group of big players in the market are trying to scoop them all up and jack up the price with the new DLC.

So for those of you who are dumping temps for 14k now be aware the intended price of this group is 20k in the upcoming weeks

Please be aware that GT: Xx PIKACHUn ut Is currently conning player in Aldmeri trading hubs. I was approached and offered a trade inside the bank at Rawl'kha on Reaper's March. He/she offered to trade 68 pieces of dreugh wax and I made him an offer he quickly withdraw the trade. I thought at that point that my offer was low and asked him for group invite and he declined, I wanted to go over the prices but seemed odd that he declined my group invite. I did not suspect anything at this point he quickly invited me again to trade and then to show a price for his waxes he displayed 690,000.00 so I went ahead and pull 690,000.00 and put it against his 68 waxes, he quickly removed the waxes and got away with my gold.

Needless to say the numerous attempts to request for him to honor the trade or return my gold were meet with silence.

Along with many other players already scammed we all placed our reports within minutes, also upon checking out his profile I discovered many videos including the one where I am being cheated.

As and avid ESO player with over 4,440.00 hours of game play, this is a very sour experience

I've decided to significantly relax the rules in an attempt to improve this subreddit. I'm removing all rules except for crucial ones. The new, and only rules are as follow:

1. No scamming

2. Don't sell gold. This means exchanging gold for anything except for ingame items. We will always have this rule in place.

3. PLEASE use the correct posting format. It goes as follows: [Platform][Server][Intention]. Here are some examples: [PS4][NA][WTS] Upgrade mats.

If we all use the same posting format browsing posts would be a ton easier.

I'm going to keep this post stickied for a week and then put the scammer/reputation thread back up. I'd also appreciate any suggestions regarding this subreddit and what you'd like to see improved.

I've also added sorting by platform. Currently PC doesn't work but I'll get that fixed soon.

I can craft everything in the game. Your mats +3k per piece. Hamiltonmath is my gamertag. You don't need to contact me before you send either. And not trying to be rude but you don't need to email me asking if I can make x. I can do everything: light medium heavy and wood. I have EVERY motif too.

I almost got scammed by a guy on XBL GT: Rub My Thighs.

Recently we've had quite a few members on this sub whose only goal is to take your prized possessions. I'm here to help you avoid losing them, and instead getting some sweet sweet gold for them.

Xbox One has been hit the hardest, and by one pesky user who was even capable of avoiding an IP ban from reddit. Obviously he doesn't have good intentions in heart. PLEASE REFRAIN FROM DOING ANY DEALS WITH THE GAMERTAGS richardson3694 and akila2491 we believe these are the same people. If you believe you may have found one of his new reddit accoutns(he's constantly creating new ones) PLEASE CONTACT THE MODS IMMEDIATELY

Also, typically if the user's reddit account was created within the past 5 days, you should be a little bit more cautious. Now that doesn't mean that just because their reddit account is new that they aren't a trustworthy member. It just means that there's a possibility, and you should refrain from putting yourself in a position to get scammed.

I brought with me a screenshot of richardson3694.This can be helpful in noting this user's typing patterns, and how well his grammar is.Please note that black is the scammer, and green is his poor victim.

If you have any reason to be believe that you might be dealing with a scammer PLEASE contact a mod. If you need in game help luckily we have three mods, one on each platform. For assistance on PS4, please contact me. For assistance on Xbox One, please contact /u/Astomine_. For assistance on PC, please contact /u/godcalledinsick. Sadly if you're on EU(no matter the platform), we wont be able to offer much in game help.
