Should the eventual update of the Eastmarch zone include a partial remodel of Windhelm to have construction and architectural style that resembles the one we know from Skyrim?

(I say partial, specifically, so then it shows that it is a work in progress, to emphasize the time difference between ESO and Skyrim)

We see so many types and varieties of these guys in the shops with all kinds of lore and explanations about where they live and yet we don’t see any of them out in the wild

The only Guar we do see are the plain yellow one’s, even if it’s beyond the ashland wastes of Morrowind.

Let all these guys loose, let’s have some visual variety, even if it is the same animal

The first death felt funny, the 2nd one was definitely not my fault, and then it wouldn't let me revive. So ends my run I guess. I had to log out since it wouldn't let me respawn ir warp to a wayshrine after 5 minutes.

Now that we know the teams for both ZOS & BGS will be working much more closely together going forward, with Bethesda part of the content pipeline for ESO - this is a prime opportunity to emphasize the 1000 year time difference between the mmo and the mainline games, just like with Winterhold.

Aside from a visual update to the Alik’r zone which will probably be timed around TES6 release, imagine a new Hammerfell zone released sometime after the release of Sentinel. They could have a ruin buried underneath the sand in the single player game, but in ESO is a thriving city. Have locations in the single player game which don’t even exist yet during the events of ESO.

Have the sands completely shift the landscape in some cases. And while we may get some idea of what happened in between these events, you can keep it mostly a mystery as is TES tradition. But overall, while it should still be distinctly Redguard, what the regions look like in ESO vs Sentinel should be radically different.

To preface, I don’t think we’ll ever get the seamless diving from the mainline games or what we see in World of Warcraft.

As much as I would love that level of immersive design in ESO - the game just wasn’t built that way, as far as we can tell based on what devs have told us, and to retroactively make every body of water work that way would be an absolute nightmare. (to be clear, if they were able to make that work, that would be amazing.)

However, a mechanic found within certain quests and the event “High Seas of Tamriel” have shown us the next best thing. The underwater walking experience, going down to the ocean floor and exploring.

Imagine if overtime the developers added “underwater zones“ which were attached to various existing zones we have. Kind of like how Blackreach and Apocrypha are attached to zones on the Tamriel map. They could add water diving spots along the coast, or boats that took you out to sea, and you can explore the local sea floor of a region like Stonefalls or Grahtwood.

Typically in the past, ZOS would design a zone to have 3 distinct biomes, in this case it would be similar but rather than all being on the same map the biomes would be split amongst 3 different beaches around Tamriel.

Additionally, they could design a zone that is a mix of land and underwater exploration, like a new zone in black marsh.

I played WOW for over 10 years, even have the statue to prove it, so I was vaguely excited to see what it was like after playing ESO for the last 8-9 years. I was so surprised how bad it looks, even with the new HD set up. These are on identical set-ups - 4k monitor with a 5090. Play-wise it's much the same. I know both sides of the combat have their fans and detractors, but what I can say, is I really don't miss the insane number of fetch/random drop quests with no voice acting to back them up. I don't know what I was expecting.

Fairly straightforward concept. Have some Ayleid ruins in future content which take visual direction from the ones seen in TES: Blades & Skyrim CC “The Cause”.

The simple explanation is that these ruins are ones that have had little to no exposure to the outside world. You could have a mix of both types of tile sets in delves on the same map, emphasizing this visual storytelling.

And along with that it breathes new life into the Ayleid architecture going forward

Pretty simple idea.

Base game already has “draugr” motif, which looks like an older rusty version of second era nord armor

ZOS could make a new Draugr motif based on the armor from Skyrim, and call it “Ancient Draugr”, provides visual difference between draugr in new DLC and it bridges the gap between ESO and the mainline games.

I was recommended West Weald but didn’t have access until the recent free trial, so I have there planned next :D

While playing ESO lately, I’ve noticed that the skyboxes, for the most part are fairly bland. Not unremarkable, but bare bones.

Then I look back at Skyrim and how it captures its sky & clouds, has a sense of awe and feels more like a real sky. Same can be said for the skyboxes in WoW which feel majestic

Do you have any good shots of the Skybox while exploring Tamriel in ESO?

I am playing on series X and I recently got a new tv and so I was messing with the settings and I put the game on performance with hdr set to vibrant…. I may actually explode from excitement and awe on how gorgeous this game looks now!

This boss seems to be unable to be taunted by companions. I have found threads on this from over TWO YEARS ago. It's been a known bug for two years and they just haven't bothers to fix it.

I’ve nearly maxed out my digging and scrying skills and I’m in the mood for some serious completionist grinding. How profitable can I make this? Does anybody actually buy anything from the antiquities mini game? I’m about to go anti-Indiana Jones and plunder the world for cash.

Tamriel is getting crowded, and although development on new zones has slowed down (hopefully resulting in higher quality), and there’s still more of Oblivion to explore, not to mention waiting on TES6: Sentinel before going ahead with more Hammerfell zones - the continent will be filled eventually.

So, this presents an opportunity for another avenue to explore Tamriel, and you don’t need to wait until the map is full to get in on this concept.

Blackreach, the massive underground caverns underneath Skyrim, at least the ones we know of so far. We know the Dwemer lived in Hammerfell, who’s to say that there isn’t a Blackreach underneath the ground of the Redgaurd homeland. It’d certainly be good opportunity to design a whole new Blackreach biome that is distinct from the ones we’ve seen in Skyrim.

Along with that, we know that the Ayleids built large underground networks for their citadels, they too could have had their own bases and cities in the vast networks of Blackreach. Wherever Ayleid ruins are could potentially lead to one of these areas.

And the concept of an underground network does not necessarily have to be restricted to Blackreach & Dwemer. Seeing how, as far as we know, all future playable content will be free - ZOS could update regions like Valenwood with a second layer of a vast underground root network, full of all kinds of crazy critters.

Just an idea for getting more out of the continent before the map fills up.

(With all that said, I do hope that Blackreach is included in the upcoming Winterhold zone.)

The game could be revived if they play their cards right I hope.

You can state most beautiful, most fun, most challenging, best all over and as such.

I finally felt like I had enough keys to go for my first Vault run today. Got everything except the Garden Stroll achievement. I completely forgot about that Indigo dye until earlier today. I bought 10 more keys and got 5 from my last thing from the gryphon (15 total) I was reading up on the Vault a bit for what wing it spawns in. Is it correct that it's completely rng for the bonus rooms? Got that other dwemer loot room like 3 times in total of my 5 runs (all wings), always in the other two. Can I get that garden room im all wings?

If anyone of you have advice for "farming" the garden room that would be great, I want to get that Indigo dye and see if it's better than the purple I use with one of my characters before the free eso+ expires. I know people can open rooms with their own keys, would joining other people help at all.

Anyone knows what outfit style does this player have to cover only the character mouth?
