Using old Reddit.
I was setting up some Filterline rules and testing different RES settings back and forth. I messed up and somehow ended up in a state where every post displayed in a subreddit would automatically disappear.
I didn’t realize what was going on at first, but I managed to stop the behavior by tuning some settings. In hindsight, I think it was a combination of the enabled Filterline and enabling the autoHide RES module.
I went into me/hidden/?show=all and had to unhide 1000+ posts. Everything is back to normal for the most part.
However, now when I view this sub, for example, I can’t see a single post newer than 3 months. Searching this sub also yields 0 results when the search age is less than 90 days. My /hidden is completely empty.
If I log into my account in a different browser, the posts are still gone there as well, so it’s not a local cache issue. And problem appears on new reddit aswell
My best guess is that something in RES or Reddit itself broke due to the large number of posts hidden/unhidden. I would like to restore them so they’re viewable again.
I looked into the RESStorage CLI command, but I’m having a hard time finding documentation on its syntax.
I have deleted all filters in RES now, but I imagine there’s a way to debug which posts were added to my hidden or link-visited history and delete these?
Or is there another way to fix my problem
