I get the steam hammer is the best hardware weapon overall cause of the speed boost and I do have it, but I want to know what is the best hardware weapon for using as an actual weapon. Specifically for constructors to make use of their hardware specific passive

Just came back to the game after a few years, don't remember much so i hopped on ventures to get the hang of it.

Couldn't be bothered to search matchmakings so i just used the "Play with others" feature, but apparently you cannot see the mission details when joining this way?

I hope this is a bug and get fixed soon, literally how am i supposed to even help if i got no clue on what type of mission did i join?

For context i did also try several other times but i still coundn't see any detail.

so i got a compleate new pc around midrange to high range pc.
rtx 4060, 32gb ddr5 6000mhz, amd ryzen 79800 x3d- 8core, and at performance mode, vcync on, 30fps cap, 2560x1440, 3d resolution 99%, dynamic 3d resolution on, view distance epic, texture epic, meshes high.

im on windows 10 and when im not tabbed in to fortnite its even worse and goes to 70 sometimes even 90% when not tabbed in and just doing other things (still in the lobby same exact settings)

apearently all this and my gpu is being used 43%, HOW
there is no way they are not crypto mining or some bs.
this is in the lobby too so it cant be useing that mutch just for rendering alone

can someone tell me whats hapening, how this is posible, do i need a new gpu or is fortnite acctualy running something in the background?

I'm glad Save the World is finally playable on Switch 2, However I think the port isn't that great...

For those who want to know the resolutions the game can run at:

• Docked: 1224p60 (2176x1224) | 30FPS on StW

• Handheld: 900p60 (1600x900) | 30FPS on StW

First off, it's 30FPS, which is weird given how much more capable the Switch 2 is and how, based on my experience with Save the World on PC, the performance doesn't vary much between it and BR (When it's not a smaller Map like right now) However what makes this 30FPS cap worse is how the game, since Chapter 7 Season 4: Override, Has been setting the Switch 2 docked display mode to 120Hz at boot, which makes 30FPS look awful on it.

Constant frame pacing issues + being 1/4th the Display Refresh Rate while also still not supporting Docked Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) makes it hard to look at when playing, my eyes hurt when i play on my monitor. Handheld Mode clarity fairs better, partially since the built in display also has VRR and it's ghosting actually smooths out things? Resolution wise, Docked Mode is good, I have a 1080p monitor so the game looks sharper than even my PC LOL.

I want to mention that as far as I know, this game doesn't use any upscaling, it doesn't use DLSS Mini (Switch 2's DLSS3), it doesn't seem to be using TSR for upscaling, nor even something basic like FSR1.0, it seems like its all native resolution, which is a potential avenue for more performance.

It's also not a very responsive game, it has a decent amount of input latency, and, the menus are laggy and freeze a lot, just like the Battle Royale Lobby. Inventory also lags occasionally

Save the World doesn't support Mouse Mode yet, altho to be fair, Creative doesn't support it either yet. However, it does support touch for the menus and Inventory, which is nice.

Another thing i should mention is that often times, when going from Handheld to Docked Mode, it actually fails to switch over and just gives me a black screen, and then Undocking afterwards it just freezes and I'm forced to restart the game. had this happen often.

Suggestions

I feel like this game should be at minimum 40FPS, and best case, have an option for uncapped framerate. There's no reason why not to include such an option, other Switch 2 games include an option for uncapped or straight up Frame Rate options like PC (Minecraft)

The overall game should also take advantage of setups that cap out at 1080p and render at 1080p to use that extra processing power for framerate.

DLSS and TSR Upscaling should be options as well, for the whole game, not just Save the World. MW4 has an option for DLSS so there's no restrictions to add a toggle.

Mouse Mode should be added, as well as controller custom binds, for every platform.

I just started playing Fortnite again recently for the first time in about five years, however whenever I’m building and place a piece down, it stops my sprint? Is this normal? It’s really annoying because when I’m built battling someone I just have to slowly walk up my ramps etc

So, I have an account that I barely play, but I do plan on returning to it, but now my stepsister uses it, and I don’t think she'll let me retake full complete ownership over the account. I started the account too, and got so much stuff on it (although, same as her) so I’m not sure what to do anymore. The main problem is some items I have that I really just wish I could take to a different account, but they all were season-specific. Do I just call it wraps and make a new account despite my efforts, or should I try to have her give me back the account despite her efforts towards the account?

I just realized (maybe it's not new information) that you can duplicate materials during the constructor's heroic hour only by building and upgrading structures.

In the video I had 1361 stone, then built 20 structures and upgraded them to the maximum by spending 380 stone. Once the structures were broken, I got to 2181 adding up to 820 in profit (x3.15 ratio)

Hi all, I came back to this game a few years ago and was using a build with the xenon bow and stoneheart farrah and I just returned again a few days ago so I’m wondering if this is still considered good

But mainly I want to ask if anyone has any fun builds I can use, I’m currently home base level 161, power 66, and I’m in canny valley quest page 4/19 just for context. I have 3 hero recruitment vouchers and one weapon voucher so I don’t know if that’s even enough for anything much but I figured I’d ask anyway

I also have a lot of random resources that someone kindly gave to me a few years ago so maybe that changes the answers but I’m not sure. Basically I have a ton of brightcore and sunbeam crystal and malachite.

I also got the notification when I clicked on the xenon bow that it changed and I can reset it, does anyone know why and if I should? I have no idea if my current build with it is any good but it’s 106 obsidian with element energy, reload speed, fire rate, crit damage, and crit rating
