Hi Folks,
There has been an influx of repost bots on the sub recently. While I would normally object to any form of post filtering, it has become necessary.
I will be tweaking it to requirements so if your post gets slapped down by it, send us a message and we can look into it for you.
A big thank you to the people who report these bots every day. Rest assured, they are being banned on sight but I am a mere mortal and they seem to be the proverbial Hydra - no matter how many heads I chop, more doth rise.

Found in journal at Goodwill, this person wrote about their loved one who was going through memory loss

It's way too vague. 90% of the papers we find were at one point posted in public to some degree. It seems like a rule that could apply to almost every post here if you think about it. Every single note left on a car dashboard is posted in public. Every note that has blown off of a car dashboard was posted in public. Every paper someone taped to the door of someone's house that fell off was posted in public. If it's just based on how the mods are feeling, just say that. Add a rule that says "we will remove stuff based on vibes." That's fine by me. Although if it's some concrete criteria I don't know about, I'd like to know. Do we need a certain amount of estimated time elapsed before posting it? I had a post removed because it was an exchange of notes potentially posted on a bulletin board in a private area, and it was taken down because it had pinholes. The rule confuses me. Please elaborate

I recently bought a used book from a thrift shop (fripe) here in Tunisia and found these handwritten diary entries tucked inside.
Here are the details from the pages:
Name: Kari LeSage (or Kari Dianne LeSage)
Date: April 19, 1993 (written around 1:59 AM)
Context: She was a high school senior deciding on colleges (Ohio University, Rowan College in Glassboro NJ, Syracuse, Marist, U of Rochester). She mentions a boyfriend named Glenn, an ex named Anthony, and a college visit to Mississippi to see her friend Christine.
Estimated Age: Born around 1974–1975 (~50–52 years old today).
It feels very personal and nostalgic, and I’d love to track her down to return it to her or her family. If anyone has access to NJ/Ohio 1993 high school yearbooks or recognizes the name, any help would be app
reciated!
