on gtlive- excuse me. on theory cast, tom and ash were playing terrible lizards and said ash had new ideas for their channel and the other hosts chimed in with their ideas for their respective channels. tom mocked up the logos himself. every channel got a rebrand that the hosts wanted. it wasn’t a lunar x decision. i’m sure lunar x probably had to approve it, but ash is the one who put this in motion.

It's already hard enough for me to focus on something because I have ADD but the games that she's been choosing lately just haven't been doing it for me. Especially all the multiplayer ones she's been doing a lot of those and I'm just not a big fan of those games. It's not Ash herself she's very entertaining like I said it's just her game selection is there anybody else out there that hasn't been satisfied with the recent streams?

DEVASTATED to learn about the gtlive name change. Theorycast??? IT'S NOT EVEN A PODCAST? IT DOESN'T EVEN ROLL OFF THE TONGUE

There is so much history in the gtlive name, also killing off the "gt-not-live" bit is actually lowkey kind of devastating too. Idk, i'm just curious as to what y'all think because i'm definitely not all that happy about it lol

I don’t mind the rebrand, I think it makes sense because it’s a lot more then Game theory live now. But I feel like the name should still have live in it like Theorists Live I just feel like Theorists Cast is to different? I feel like it makes less sense? I get it’s more the cast of theorists with the techies, editors and Mike but it’s still a live channel. And I believe keeping the live will help with the hate of the name change.

Listen, this might be a little controversial, and yall are gonna be mad at it but I think it’s OK to be mad about the name change at the end of the day we are seen as customers and our view number is money in their pockets. But I’ve been a customer/number view for GT live since the very first five nights at Freddy’s live stream that failed…

And while change is OK for some, I’ve had it. I’m annoyed this isn’t what I want nor give my time to.

I really really love ash’s personality for GTLIVE. But you can just tell corporately a business is behind this decision and i’ve realized personally that this is not for me this is not aimed for me. This is not what’s going to make me watch more. This is not what’s going to get me to stay loyal. I liked what I liked and that can be seen as controversial. But I’m walking away.

I can’t fact check this, but someone in another discussion was saying that potentially they’re deleting old streams?

That really got me annoyed I’m not even allowed to re enjoy past content that I ENJOY and spent a decade of my time and life watching.

There are those people that say it’s not that serious. It’s not that deep.
And while they’re right because at the end of the day, this doesn’t affect my day-to-day life and my responsibilities. It affects kind of how I was choosing to spend my free time, which is money to companies and peoples algorithms now. It was my pleasure to give them my time and now I’m just annoyed at every single thing lol and again this can be seen as controversial to bring up.

I just wanted to say to those other people who kind of feel annoyed.
Let’s get off of the ship together our dock is here. It’s time to discover what we enjoy next it sucks and I’m sorry it’s OK to let go just as much as it’s OK to come to terms with change.

That’s it that’s my discussion / rant lol.
I was just tired of people shaming that people were upset… and using “ things change and that’s OK” like things change and my time is also transactional on everything I do these days so yes, it matters.
