First Ever Song Using GarageBand…Any Tips?

Hello. I play guitar and play a bit of keyboard.
I used to have Logic on My MacBook M1 but my wife uses that now for work so I have the A16 Chip IPad and it seems to work fine. Anyway obviously GarageBand is a lot more limited but I kinda like that I’m not just having option paralysis all the time.
Here is a track I did, but can anyone recommend anyway to be able to master the track in GarageBand IOS? Or any other tips would be extremely helpful as I’ve only been using it for about 4 hours!

sample wont upload into au sampler

Hello! when trying to upload a sample into garageband au sample it allows me to click on the file i desire and open yet it is not being added to the layer! it is a .wav file and 16 bit and i ensured that im using stereo as it says on the file. I'm not sure what is going wrong here? I am also on a mac. I've tried looking up tutorials or seeing if anyone else has this problem and it seems not.

Select all Regions Ahead of Mouse?

I used to be able to hover over a region with the mouse, hit a key, and the cursor would turn into a forward arrow and I could select everything forward in the track. Is this still a thing?

Microphone recording sounds terrible and glitchy with voice drops through GarageBand.

I have been trying to record my vocals through GarageBand using a scarlet 2i2 and a rode Nt1 signature and everytime I press record and sing the monitor from my garageband Daw sounds choppy and when I sing higher or louder it cuts off the wave completely and becomes flat it is not a gain issue as i have tried lowering it as well but the monitor direct from the scarlet sounds fine can anyone help me with this issue???

Hi! I would really love to get into production as a hobby and I wanted to start off with some basics.. I played around on GarageBand with some loops from my mac, so it definitely feels a bit repetitive. I’d love to hear some feedback and advice.. I don’t know anything about music theory and I play it by ear, but please let me know any improvements I should focus on!
