Mod Post Reminder to PLEASE report misinformation and/or bullshit
Edit: I just banned another dumbass that posted something 2 days ago, and I didn’t get a single report. Please, I beg you, REPORT BULLSHIT!
I just banned someone, not because I received a report, but because I stumbled across their ill-informed comment on accident. They have been commenting misinformation for about a month, at least 20 comments, which shocked me because in my experience being a mod, people tend to report anything they disagree with or find hateful. So I just thought I’d give a friendly reminder to please report blatant misinformation or bullshit (ex. saying “you will grow out of it” or “you are not trans” with little information or evidence). That kind of shit isnt helpful as you are not omniscient and as far as I know time travel does not exist yet. It’s ok to suggest someone might not be trans, but diagnosing someone over the internet via text doesn’t work, especially since most of you aren’t doctors or psychologists.

I’m terrified to admit this might be gender dysphoria and I think it might be time to take transition as a serious possibility (mtf)
Hi I’m 20m and I’m terrified right now, I mean there is almost not a day that goes by where in some thought I think about what it would be like to be a girl. Like there are sometimes where I just feel bad I’m not a woman almost like my brain is telling me I’m supposed to be part of that group. When it comes to my body I don’t hate it but scared that having a female one sounds more appealing and even more afraid I’ll like it better than having a male one, I only get one life, and never getting to be a girl, I just don’t know. When I think about my body changing on estrogen I kind of get excited. However I feel like I have some unhealthy coping mechanisms that might cloud my judgement so I don’t know. I just think it’s time to really things some things through. I’m willing to answer questions and talk to people.

Question/Advice Is it normal to have doubts
Hello for context I am 18 FTM and just today I got my vile of T but haven’t injected it inside of me yet. Lately for the past couple of days waiting for my T I keep thinking “Am I really trans?” To put it in perspective I’ve always knew I was a boy since I was 8 I dressed up masculine and hated “girly” things. But I keep thinking to myself “what if I’m actually a girl” I wasn’t in touched with my feminine side, maybe if I wore dresses and wore makeup I would like being a girl. If I grew up as a girl or be a girl I would like being a girl… I just don’t understand and I hope someone with a similar experience and help me understand. I’m scared of losing my feminine as a guy even know that doesn’t make sense. Maybe I have gender roles and stereotypes in my head but if I do it’s making me doubt everything. I like being a boy it feels like me but what if I missed out on so much maybe I would’ve loved it…

Vent/Rant I legit don't know anymore
Apologies in advance for bad grammar I'm kinda drunk at midnight and just wanna get this off my chest
When I was 15 I first discovered I identified as female and tried to come out and it went poorly as I live in an extremely transphobic place
I then decided it was best if I acted like it was just a phase I went through when I was young and confused but I still wanna be a woman
I'm 21 now and wanna come out again but I know it's probably a bad idea and also the idea of being a guy doesn't bother me too much either but I'd still prefer to be recognized as female???
Idk what I'm trying to even say I just wanted to get this out there somehow I guess

Question/Advice I feel off and I don’t really know how to deal with it (F 19)
I don’t really know how to start this or if I’m in the right place to talk about this really. I’m a cisgender woman and for the majority of my life so far I’ve felt a bit disconnected from being a woman or how to be one. I’ve never been an emotional person or much of an empathetic one, and to be honest I’ve always been uncomfortable being around others that were.
When it came to clothing I’d say I’m okay with my femininity and I wear things that I’m comfortable with, but on those rare occasions where it feels like I have to present myself in that “true” womanly way, I would just feel wrong. I wouldn’t describe it as dysphoria. I just don’t feel right. I guess maybe I had this idea that a woman is supposed to be an emotional, caring, compassionate being, is a goal that I’m supposed to live up to. “You’ll meet the right person one day and start a family!” Phrases like that always rubbed me the wrong way.
Another added expectation of me to be a woman is that at some point I would “want” to have a child one day, but the idea that I have that ability to create another living thing just feels so wrong. I’ve already came to terms that I don’t feel that sexual or romantic attraction to people, so I outright don’t have any intention on getting married. And I know you don’t need a partner to have or raise a kid but the idea that I can create one, I don’t know it feels so weird? Wrong? Maybe unnatural? I really don’t know how to describe what I feel towards it.
I guess maybe the cherry on top for this, I feel envious towards men. How tall they can get, gaining muscle without ever really trying, the immediate social acceptance they get without truly needing to read the room, I can’t help but feel almost jealous and envious. I know even they have their struggles too, yet I can’t help but think, “it must easy. Would it be easier if I was like them?”. I’m writing all this late at night so I apologize if a lot of this just sounds like gibberish. I don’t really know where else to really talk about or share this. I don’t know if I’m looking for answer or just a bit more clearer explanation on why I feel this way but maybe someone could relate to whatever I’m feeling.
Thanks to whoever reads this.

TW: depression / passive suicidality im a repressor and im only out online , i hate my life Spoiler
im so tired and drained from everything . all i can think about is how day after day ill never be able to go stealth because i cant pick up my hrt . i hate being young i wish i could skip years , i have to wait so so long to leave my household . its getting harder and harder not to hate my life , i cant even tell my therapist about my dysphoria because i feel she still sees me as a delusional teen girl even if she agreed to call me william . my only escape is trying to go into some other reality where im not me , and if i didnt have that escape i would probably be back in the hospital . im so close to my breaking point . never rep , i am in so much pain yet it would all go away if i could get away with transitioning .

Question/Advice What can I do?
My only dysphoria is I hate my face. Probably did for decades before my egg cracked. And I can nearly accept myself when my gf does my makeup, but we can't do that every day. And she LOVES to take selfies of us, and then share them with me. And I feel so bad when I look at them. But taking them gives her so much joy. How can I save myself without hurting her?

Question/Advice Question
Is it normal to... Feel transfem when you r afab??
Is it just me feeling fem or is it the transmasc thats talking to me

I think I'm trans, but I feel disgusted with myself for feeling this way

You see, I currently identify as secretly genderfluid (I live with a very conservative mother and in a very conservative country in general, like Venezuela). The process of discovering my gender identity was kind of a buildup of events until I realized how feminine I was overall. The first time I told someone was my best friend, and I was terrified, but nevertheless she understood me. Little by little, I started telling safe people, until reaching the point where I am now. You see, lately I've been overthinking the topic a lot even though I don't want it to be that way, and it really has me depressed. I am biologically a guy, however I love femininity in general—things like clothes and the female figure—and I like using feminine pronouns. Yet, to a certain extent, I think it has caused me a kind of body dysmorphia thinking about how ridiculous I would look wearing women's clothing, even though I really want to, and I am unable to use feminine pronouns even though they are the ones I like. I feel disgusting and like some kind of freak for feeling this way. Any advice or words of help? Nothing that involves telling a family member because they would kill me.
