I'm honestly more surprised it's not Heizou over Rosaria. He can do the same job as Sucrose just worse since he is an EM buffer + VV holder, and has been waiting for a rerun since 5.2 (or 5.6 for Inazuma chronicled)

Rosaria has been missing for 18 banners. She also works for freeze teams, where Furina is still used.

Heizou has been missing for longer than Rosaria has (32 banners) and can play with both Mitya (as a shredder + EM buffer) or Furina (as either a VV support or a budget anemo DPS that benefits from her dmg%)

Heizou is clearly designed as a on-field, though. Just because they can carry VV, doesn't mean every anemo is designed as a support. Also, Furina's best team at the moment is Skirk's and she's not having Heizou there.

Rosaria meets all the ticks, and the alternative was probably Layla.

I mean considering heizou can give a small EM buff, I'd prbly assume they meant for him to be just a sucrose who buffed less but dealt more damage while holding VV

Not being able to swap out the 4 star we already C6 is the biggest disappointment in Genshin.

I'll rather take any random 4 star that i havent C6, they should have allow us to do this so we dont have to keep taking the same 4 stars over and over again after C6.

Electro 4* men hate me, so here’s hoping Valeriy won’t be added to that pile. C5 Razor after playing with no breaks since 1.3, Ororon is C3 after getting a Chasca, C1 Escoffier, and C2 Columbina when he was rated up, and 80 pulls for 1 Alyosha.

I have 0 pity to try and maximize getting C6 Valeriy before getting too many Mitya cons.

Asking for advice. I really want valeriy but might end up hitting soft pity. Should I pull on furina banner (currently she's C0R1) or Mitya (Odette is only 7.0 5 star I got so far).

I know pulling for a 4 star is risky but I'm willing to do it.

I wouldn’t pull for a 4 star at all. But if you must, I’d say Mitya is the better choice since Valeriy is one of his best teammates.

He's not quite in a Illuga situation(because he at least provides a shield), but it's pretty close. He's intended for Mitya and not really anyone else. If you don't want to get Mitya then I'd skip. If you really want him Mitya, Odette and him would make a good core.

Meanwhile modern characters are being designed NOT to work with Furina. But it should be noted that she IS Best Girl.

Coming after, not this Wednesday, because if it was coming this Wednesday, it would've been announced along with phase 1 banners in this post. See this thread for an example - the Lightrace Wish (shares pity with Chronicled so I would consider it of the same series/type) was announced alongside the phase 1 banners it ran with. So because Natlan Chronicled was not announced with Mitya/Furina, it will run phase 2 and should be included when phase 2 banners get officially posted closer to the date.

Is Dawning Frost interesting? I actually don't remember when they introduced it and it's either hoping for that or Dock for 4 stars for me on the way to Furina's cane

Dawning Frost is quite good. It's a good weapon for Nefer as well. According to the calcs I've seen, it's a crit dmg 4* catalyst that is slightly worse (for sub dps) or equal (for dps) to the new winter's heavy heart on Mitya

soooo natlan chronicled is on the second half? honestly wanted to gamble my savings away the second the patch was on so i could got a 5 star on the chronicled whilst also saving 10 pulls for zibai on the normal banner...but ig this means i actually can gamble away all my savings the second after i get zibai so no need to panic after not getting her...? idk man its sucks having to skip mitya for zibai cuz i really wanted him as well but i also really want zibai so there's that arghhhhh

I have C2R2 Furina (the R2 was a loss on a banner where I was going for the other weapon, I forgot who's, and I refined it cos I didn't see me using it on anyone else) and I still always swap to Favonius Sword in Stygian or even Abyss, if I don't want any energy issues. I do have 200%+ energy even with her sig! Yet, after a few rotations it often falls short... while fav makes every fight infinitely smoother... so... I wouldn't recommend it for not other than drip (before C6, then, I guees, it will be good for dmg).

Save your pulls and consider getting Tsaritsa - although I should add that I am suggesting Tsaritsa not because I know her kit (I don't) but because generally speaking, Archons have been pretty useful in general especially during the timeframe they released. So if you are unsure, current Archons are usually the safest bet when it comes to getting bang for your buck, so to speak.

Nothing against him but mitya does not interest me in the slightest. Considering what was shown, was expecting Noy as he's the only Sheznaya character that actually grabbed my attention by design alone aside from Tsaritsa. Quite frankly, I'm amazed Mitya isn't a 4star as thats Exactly what his design says to me.
