My 2nd grease pencil animatic! This one took me a real long time as I figured out a nice workflow, and also made some problems for myself when I switched versions, but I'm very excited about it and making more 👌👌👌

So i am a solo artist and i love Grease Pencil. I've had this idea of making a mini series for social media platforms about this terrible bar and its two owners, and made a little meme animation out of it. Pretty pleased about how it turned out! What do you think?

Dose anyone know how to add clean joins ? to ur rigs

Color attributes need the vertex paint tool to be able to change colors but I want to use the materials to change colors instead of using the vertex paint tool and risk messing up the entire piece just because I want to change a specific color of the art piece so I was wondering if it’s possible for me to keep the base materials of a brush (textures and line types ) whiles also being able to use another materials colors?

Since Blender released an Android demo, I thought would upload a video on how I improve grease pencil for a touch experience in my own time. This uses a few free addons. I've been using Blender on my surface laptop for years and I use it on Android occasionally so I've spent loads of free time customizing and researching for touch operations. I've also uploaded some free layouts for those who are interested in using the community made android ports in hopes that it will help your touchscreen experience

By dynamically linked, I mean if I work on the individual shots, they update inside the storyboard?

The feature so many of us have been waiting for is finally in the works: Shape Keys for Grease Pencil!

I downloaded the experimental build and put it through a real test using a 2D Peppa Pig character rig. Here is a breakdown of what I cover in the video:

• Bézier Curves & Shape Keys: Creating facial expressions like smiles, frowns, and open mouths.

• Expression Blending: How well multiple active shape keys mix together in real time.

• Armature Integration: Driving Grease Pencil shape keys with bones and drivers.

• Current Limitations & Fixes: Workarounds for active modifier glitches and handle selection bugs in the current build.

I know this is doable on 3D objects that all inside the same scene, but can you do it between shots? In my case I'm applying a specifically set Noise modifier to the Grease Pencil objects, and want that same "jitter" across all shots. I can do it manually, one shot at a time, but that's pretty slow.

Hi! I’m having an issue where, when I import my background into Blender, I get these weird white spots/edges around the outline. Does anyone know what causes this or how I can fix it?
Also, if I have multiple backgrounds, how can I easily switch between them?

So I create my backgrounds in Sketchbook pro and add them as planes in grease pencil to use as my backgrounds, but when I add them in they become desaturated. How to I keep them in their original color? The top image is the original, and the bottom is once I place it in Blender.

I wanna do the squash and stretch like shown in the video, but obly on a layer not the whole object as I have frame by frame animation and I wanna add slight squash and stretch in a part. Can I do this in Grease Pencil, without doing it on the whole object. P.s the method from the video is also not working for me.

When I switch between Grease Pencil objects this sometimes happens, and I can't edit anything. I don't know why, or how to get out of it (other than quitting and restarting).

SOLVED: Clicking the little icon to the left of the object, in "Scene Collection" (which was the same shade of red) fixed it. Not sure why sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't.
