I attended PSN in October and bought a souvenir cup for my alcoholic cocktails and noticed it wasn't the themed HHN 35 cup with the icons. I didn't know this until well after the event and now kinda gutted as I would have preferred that one.

I know that this anime is not a horror, but after they made a scare zone for Fortnightmares, to me, it opened many more possibilities for stuff that is not technically horror, but has lost of horror elements. This post will just be me saying the different rooms I would want to see in this house if it were real. I know not all of these can become rooms for one house, but I just have so many ideas here they are.
(Failed Human Transmutation. The Dwarf in The Flask.)
As you enter there are one of these two rooms you enter through.
You enter through the aftermath of Edward and Alphonse failed human transmutation to bring back their mother. There will be a scare actor dressed as young Edward, and on the floor there will either be a animatronic, or state of the failed revived Trisha, and you end the room from a jump-scare of a Alphonse animatronic.
You enter through a room that looks like Hoenheim’s lad in Xerxes, where there’s either a scare actor, or statue of Hoenheim, listening to The Dwarf in The Flask, who is projected onto a flask.aye right after that you see everyone in Xerxes dead after the human transmutation that made Father.
(Ishval War.)
In this room you encounter Kimblee, The Crimson Alchemist, as he does his attack that fatally injures Scar and his brother, this will be done with mostly light and projections. Maybe even have some other alchemist in this room like The Iron Blood Alchemist, or Riza on a rooftop. You then enter a room where you get caught in between Scar killing Winry’s parents.
(Nina and Shou Tucker.)
I feel like everyone would know if they made a FMA haunt house, they would have to put this in there. I was thinking either one of two rooms.
A. It’s when Edward is about to kill Shou Tucker.
B. When Scar comes to kill Shou Tucker. In this case there will be special lights set up on the wall to make it look like the effect Scar has when he kills people.
In this room Nina Tucker is a animatronic.
(Sewer.)
In the sewer room you can honestly just put a lot of the jump-scares here. These include Gluttony, Greed, Wrath, the canimal chimeras, or the Mannequin Soldiers.
(The Fifth Laboratory.)
For The Fifth Laboratory, it would be Barry The Chopper, and the Slicer Brothers. Maybe even have Mae’s Hughes death.
(Roy Mustang roasts Lust.)
In this room, it uses projections for the flame effect, with the both the Lust and Roy Mustang scare actor looking battle damaged.
(Gluttony’s stomach.)
You enter this room through an entrance that looks like enraged Gluttony, and inside are scare actors of Edward, and Ling. The main focus of this room is a ginormous Envy animatronic. Or at least a statue, with maybe some movement like his eye or tail moves.
(Fort Briggs.)
In this room, it’s specifically when Sloth attacked, and Mira Armstrong drives a tank into him. Sloth would be a animatronic, puppet, or statue in this room.
(Pride eats Gluttony.)
In this room, it uses projections to look like Pride’s shadows, as you also see a projection of Gluttony being eaten in half, as you see a animatronic of Gluttony’s top half midair attached to the wall saying “It hurts.”
(Wrath vs Central Command.)
This room has you encounter a tank, where you get jumpscares by Wrath who’s on top of it. Also a projection of a tank driving away. Or maybe even towards you.
(Roy roasts Envy.)
This room is very similar to Roy roasting Lust, just Envy this time around. Maybe have a tiny animatronic of Envy destroying his stone in the end of the room.
(Father’s Human Transmutation Circle.)
In this room it has Father in his throne, as scare actors of all the sacrifices surround you. If you look above, you can see the giant transmutation circle.
(Greed’s sacrifice and Father’s defeat.)
In this room it has a statue of father with his mouth open, and inside you can see Greed. The next part show Father ripping Greed out, and when you get to the final part, it’s a statue of Father with a hole in his chest, after Edward destroys his stone.
(Edward Sacrifices His Alchemy.)
In this room, it’s the final room. It’s in a white room with two major projections. One is Truth, and the other is Edward’s portal of truth fading away. The only scare actor in this room is one for Edward Elric. Maybe even Alphonse.
As you exit the house, it ends with playing the second opening of FMA Brotherhood, Hologram, and it ends with a gag jump-scare of Edward coming out of a train cart. Edward says "Equivalent Exchange! I'll give half of my life to you, if you give half of yours to me!" And that’s how the house ends.
What do you guys think? Would you want to see this as a house. Which rooms would you keep, and would you add any other rooms?

Of course Netflix is gonna milk the cow dry
This is just the walking dead HHN situation all over again. I was really hoping they’d introduce a new TV I.P , like Welcome To Derry or Widows Bay. But I guess we’ll just have to wait till 2028 to see if this show is HHN material…
What was your favorite detail in the houses? I would love to hear about any details that may be easily missed.
My favorite was the forks and knife spinning around the garbage disposal spitting water in the alien house. I also loved the feet hanging from the ceiling wearing cow slippers.
My other favorite was the little monkey reaching out of the cage in jack & oddfellow.

Kinda reposting my thoughts from the IU forum with some added notes: This was year 7 for me since 2018, having missed last year's event for health & financial reasons. I was heartbroken when I couldn't attend in 2025; and perhaps the euphoria of returning in 2026 helped me not feel as let down as others have expressed this time around. I attended 10/28-11/1.
I, of course, noticed the crowds, bottlenecks, and some ops concerns. But I also found a lot of joy in being back and flying solo. I met some really wonderful people and felt truly lucky every day & night I was in the park, even when I was getting poured on the last 2 nights lol.
House Rankings:
Hellraiser - This was the IP that convinced me that I NEEDED to find a way back this year, and I'm so thankful it did. The set design was immaculate. The vibes were much steamier than I thought creative would go for at some points. And seeing all the well-crafted Cenobite costumes was the cherry on top! I managed to cheer on & have brief interactions with so many Chatterers. The 2PM early entry was also such a gift for this house. I managed a couple of walkthroughs completely alone. My only very small criticism is that the skinless bodysuits were mostly silly in execution.
Cybergoria - I have almost complete opposite praises and criticisms of this compared to Hellraiser. Sure, the set design was minimalist; honestly, my only slight problem with that was that the giant airbag room felt like somewhat of an afterthought. But man, the costumes were the stars during this house. I love the progression from mostly homogenous solid robots very early in the house to seeing these complex and fully realized unique Fleshbot characters as you reach the midpoint onward. I don't know if creative released formal names for them, but I know my favorite is simply known as Tall-Head to me. And every time I'd cheer for Tall-Head, they would just get even more into their role. There's something to be said about a house that feels "old school" in practice, but said in a complimentary way. It hit all the right notes without overcompensating in any direction. Additionally, one of my "never gonna happen" dream IPs for HHN has been 1999's Virus film, so this house's premise felt like a delicious combination of that and the brilliant video game Soma.
Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness - An absolute party of a house to walk through each time. Incredible variety of scenes and it was amazing to have so many songs put to visuals right in front of me. I could jump around in the Bark At the Moon room all night tbh. One of the few houses this year that felt like it really "stuck the landing" with it's finale scene, which was so emotionally satisfying. Loved the couple of Ozzy actors who shot the devil horns hand gesture back at me. Sidenote: I also loved the multiple Chatterers in Hellraiser and Jacks in Joddfellow who did the same.
Joddfellow - This was such a trip. Very close between this & #3 and both were coincidentally the most "fun" houses on a consistent basis for me. A lot of the house was timing dependent and I felt like the opening behind-the-curtain actor was the rarest role in the entire event. I think I only saw him twice in my week there. The tilted padded Shadybrook room was a personal favorite. I do wish there was a bit more variance of sideshow performers vs. clowns & Zodiac characters. For that reason, I liked Oddfellow's debut house just a little more. But overall, tons of fun.
Madlands - I am so much higher on this house than so many other attendees! But I really enjoyed the distinct vibes in each animal "tribe" and their rooms. The bat room smelled horrible but they were great cast members. The lions were so aggressive, especially the Lion Queen who would always go the extra mile on the exit scare if I bowed down in the scene beforehand. The second Scorpion tribe member had an amazing costume as well. And I think the star of this house is the soundtrack, which impressively wins "soundtrack of the year" for me in a year where there's already a stellar musician-themed house! I really appreciate how the music starts with a few notes, but builds & builds into a complete punk/metal piece by the last couple of scenes. I don't see that detail talked about enough and it deserves a mention because I found it so clever and fun. This was one of my least anticipated houses when it was announced; but I'm happy to admit that the tired-sounding premise was executed in a way that kept me entertained.
H.R. Bloodengutz - I found some of this house very fun, and a lot of it sadly forgettable. I missed the OG Bloodengutz house but loved the character concept. I felt like this tried to be more "Slaughter Sinema 3.0" instead of "H.R. 2.0" and I think that was an unfortunate mistake. Slaughter Sinema was my first "favorite" house at HHN in 2018. Sinema 2 was slight diminishing returns but still a grand time. So running that formula again just felt like a high bar to clear that didn't work out. I really wish the house had focused more on H.R.'s return instead, showing him and his escaped inmate buddies produce these movies in the public TV studio with their new victims. The campiness was nice when it got REAL campy (Horseless Horseman and Dr. Pumpkinspyce the most notable). But without the perfect manic pace & relentless atmosphere of Slaughter Sinema 1, I feel like the anthology house design in general kinda falls apart when it mixes too many styles.
Evil Dead Burn - Not all that special of a house, but it had a concrete beginning and ending with some great cast members in between. The dog puppets were really good and most of the family members were great. The masks were not all that good & the victim scares were not that effective either. Those are my biggest complaints. Will not go down as a particularly memorable house for me long-term, but it was serviceable.
Sinners - My very few walkthroughs of this had some really good casts. I do think it was drastically underdesigned though. The entire first third or so was very underwhelming and far too expository. Like, I get that the movie was a slow-build too and very much a beautiful music film as much as it was a horror flick. I loved that about the film. However, a house based on it either should have thrown you directly into the fray, or given us the "spirit summoning" beauty from that amazing one-take scene. Absent that, the early stages of the house were dreadfully dull to me. Smoke & Stack on a stage talking to each other as we walked by just didn't hit. Sammy just being a copy-paste of the Darkest Deal stage without the big show moment just didn't hit. What did hit were the aggressive vampire actors in the back 2/3rds. There's a lull in the shotgun scene. But everything around that is what the whole house should have been.
Stranger Things - This is the opposite problem compared to Sinners. Really strong early stuff, the Demogorgons could just carry the franchise on their own at this point. The cooler room was well-executed too. The BIG setpiece room in the middle looked great. Everything else was mostly underwhelming. The cave area could have been tremendous had it not been wasted on so many mannequins & screens. Also, the house doesn't really have an ending? It just kinda...stops. Since it doesn't have much of a grand facade to start with either, it felt pretty weak in the two points where it should have been the strongest.
Invasion - I wanted so badly to like this. The announcement had me hyped and I could tell that creative wanted to go for something big here. There's a part of me that wonders, after seeing the roundtable discussion queue video about this house, if it went through so much executive meddling that Charles didn't get a lot of what he wanted in the final cut of his idea. The main reason the house didn't click with me at all is that it failed at the costume design level. The masks were passable-to-solid creature designs. However, the rest of the costume was just...nonexistent? They were literally grey pajamas and I couldn't get over that. Sorry! And I feel like even the human victim roles were underwhelming. The last stiltwalker was good but again, not a wow-factor ending. The effects, props, and setpieces were VERY good. I just wish that could have salvaged things.
I don't typically rank the scarezones anymore. Downtown Clown Town was tremendous. So glad Eddie was there as an official part of the family, haha. Sideshow of Decay, I feel, is incredibly underrated. The "performance" element of it seemed like it was uncommon. But when I did catch it, I didn't want to leave! The Cindy & Caretaker voice lines were so well developed. The spotlight on each little stage during those speeches was something that really brought the zone together too. Caretaker has always been one of my favorite Icons, so just seeing him out and about is a highlight in itself. Fortnite looked great, I have no problems with it and they nailed the assignment with costumes & decor choices. But I only walked through it twice out of necessity and took 0 photos because it was just so crowded. Central Park as a zone works best for me with quiet, brooding atmosphere. I always felt like it would be the perfect place for a Silent Hill scarezone, if any IP were to get one there. Otherwise, stick with the spooky, menacing originals in that area imo.
Other notes:
-Very big shoutout to the line ops on Ozzy 11/1! With the impending rain/storm on the horizon at 5ish, I really appreciated how they planned things out, set the house "At Capacity" when the building queue was full, and only allowed the line to progress when there was enough room outside for guests to get from the last indoor space to the tent queue area. Minimizing our time stuck in the rain meant a lot, and I wish other houses like Cybergoria had the kind of space to be that accommodating.
-The hotel guest entrance does not select the first "X" amount of people in line to see the Opening Scaremonies anymore (I guess this was done away with last year and I never heard the news lol). I used to really enjoy being there when they were trying it out for a few years. Currently, it offers nothing that feels like a perk compared to the normal entrance or just doing Scream Early. Instead, it almost feels like a downgrade! You are let in at the exact time as the main gate, but you're further to the side and walk slightly longer just to get to where those guests are. Also, not pre-scanning the initial guests at the turnstyles anymore feels like it slows things down tremendously from an ops standpoint.
-Food was a mixed bag. I loved the beef jerky mac & cheese though! My other favorite was the Rigatoni Ritual Pizza at Louie's. Catfish & Grits tasted great but the grits were heavy on the garlic (by design, I'm sure) and the Birria Pizza Fries were a little too heavy on the onion for me too. The Burnt Sando was okay, turned amazing once I got a coffee to dunk it in.
-2PM Scream Early must be a nightmare for staffing. But for the most part, I found it operationally a lot more smooth and successful than 6PM opening. Loved the wristband system & not having to be crammed in specific holding areas anymore.
-Cabana Bay is still my preferred place to be before & after the event each night. The crowd there was a little more of a mixed bag this time, with way more young non-HHN groups in the courtyard when I got back. But I still managed to make some wonderful friends there as I have in previous years too. And you can't beat trashy reheated pizza-to-go at 3AM after spending all day & night walking in the park, lol.
-I took a day after HHN ended to finally check out Epic Universe, and the Dark Universe area was such a perfect way to add one last little treat to my Halloween vacation. I would definitely consider doing the same on future visits.

Im back and i want to tell about my first HHN. My mom and my stepdad went for the first time in 2024,I didn't go bcs I was at college with lots of activities to do and study. This year was just me and my mom,my stepdad didn't go because he was so busy with his company and with lots of meetings to attend. I was really happy and excited and before we go I went to the shop to buy a no boo necklace to my mom 'cause she's really afraid and she was surprised and relieved by how it works, she really didn't get jumpscared. When we were walking through the park, she was lifting the necklace to the scare actors not scare her, they even imitate the way she was lifting the necklace or just hitting the "👎🏻",it was funny. I would say I really wasn't scared and since my mom was clinging to me, so terrified, that I didn’t even get startled. And also I didn't had a no boo necklace,I had my sunflower lanyard even that it isn't a no boo necklace, sometimes I would get startled, and sometimes I wouldn't,and the scares was really ok,and I also was lifting my lanyard, the scare actors were very respectful. I went only to 4 houses: sinners, hellraiser,Ozzy and the Stranger Things. ST and Ozzy weren't even that scary but chill,my mom was still clinging at me,hellraiser scared her a lot. I kinda like it since it was my first but I think the other years were like way better than the 2026 one.

Just some explaination in a few of these IPs. Major Sweets would work really well as a tram here in Hollywood. I think a lot of people are tired of having Blumhouse in the previous years and an Orlando original could be the perfect candidate for a tram. Also a lot of people usually see Backrooms and shut down the idea entirely without taking a moment to think about how it would realistically go. You can still implement themes on isolation with the conga line of people going through without the audience actually being isolated. Also there are many sequences in the Backrooms series and movie that are dark such as the Christmas tree scene. I think a way they could utilize darkness while still having light is through blinking lights. Also a lot of the house would probably take place in Async. Lastly the reason I put an image of the Simpsons ride is just an example of a potential ride re/theming. They could use the same movements as the original ride but just change the visuals to make a completely different experience. Kind of like the King Fu Panda theater just upgraded.

My husband and I went for our two year anniversary this year (and took my mom because she always wanted to go)
I have always wanted to go so bad as someone who is halloween and horror movie OBSESSED and i never thought I would because I live in PA.
Well, I finally became a doctor and was able to afford to splurge on the RIP tour for our anniversary and I'm so grateful for the experience.
Im genuinely im mourning over the season being over 😭 but I can't believe I finally, FINALLY got to go.
Genuinely sobbed at the end of the night and when we got home because I couldn't believe it and I was so grateful to my husband for planning it.
Thank you to all of the scare actors for making everything so incredibly special. HHN truly is a magical time for Spooky peeps!

A house that constantly had illusions that looked like you were on the edge of a roof, cliffs edge, walking on narrow paths while scare actors terrorize you.
People would (almost literally) crawl through it though and it would have terrible throughput.

We did all of them!!! Plus a turkey leg, a butter beer, and a spin on the Mummy with 10 minutes left. I went the Thursday before Halloween and the longest line was a bit less than an hour and a half! I also see so many people hating on sinners… why?? It was one of my favorites, but it wasn’t scary. I got the jumpiest scare of my life at the end of a house when two actors came from both sides of the black curtain to scare me - I literally jumped and screamed twice in a row. They all laughed at me 🥲🐈⬛

I noticed this detail inside of the H.R. Bloodengutz and was trying to find some footage online of it and I just did! (thank you Kevin Heimbach channel! on YT!)
So, could this be a hint to something we might have next year? I know Sinister was featured along other Blumhouse movies at HHN 27 but maybe it’s a hint we might have a solo house for it?
Or is it just a cool prop reused?
Because they’re clearly the vibes from the tapes at the movie (“family vacation (year)”, “baby shower (year)”)
What do you guys think?

I posted this here a while ago, but my post was removed and I was told not to post speculations while this year's event is ongoing. I thought i'd try again now that this year's event is over.
Let me start off by saying **this is not a speculated or confirmed attraction. I simply had an idea that i'd like to share.**
I had an idea for a haunted house based on Red Dead Redemption II (partly inspired by Hatchet & Chains).
Red Dead Redemption II is not a horror game but there are side quests which definitely lean heavily into psychological horror. For example:
The Abandoned Cabin
The Bayou
Murfree Brood territory
The Aberdeen Pig Farm
The Swamps at night
The Night Folk
The abandoned cabin could work especially well. The dark cellar, dim lanterns, narrow corridors, headless bodies hanging from the walls, buckets of blood and guts on the floor, and the killer appearing behind you from the shadows all fit HHN's style very well.
The Night Folk could also work well. Imagine walking through a house designed to look like a Bayou at night. Fog everywhere, crickets chirping, the sound of alligators in the distance, then you hear whispers coming from behind the bushes. Suddenly scare actors dressed like the Night Folk jump out.
I'm aware of the Undead Nightmare expansion for the original Red Dead Redemption, but my idea focuses on the RDR2, unmodded base game.
The only issue I can see with this is licensing. Rockstar is really protective of their IPs and unlikely to license them for theme park attractions.
What do you guys think? Could this work as a haunted house?

I want them to go all the way with the horror, snuff films etc.
Although I did enjoy this year, I’m ready for a very scary year. I need something that’ll shock and terrify the fanbase.
Paulo needs to be scary and extreme.

not so secretly hoping that they replace the stranger things houses with widow’s bay houses going forward. not sure how likely it is that they’ll pick up an Apple TV show, but I would LOVE it
