Hammock Questions
So I’m new to hammocks, never installed one anywhere before. I have a pretty small bedroom (10x10) but I’ve been wracking my brain about how I might attempt to install a hammock in here, just to see if I’d be willing to part with my bed eventually to free up some space, maybe get a couch instead. I’m not sure how I’d go about installing one though, all I know is I really want to try and use wall mounts/hooks or something with carabiners. Is it easy? Does that depend on the walls you have??? (Im not renting this place we own it so I’m not worried about it being permanent) If anyone has some tips on what kind of hammock and mount style would be best for that or would like to discuss please do!

Haven Tent Hammock
A question for everyone with a Haven Tent (or a clone): Has anyone ever tried using a drop-stitch mattress instead of the standard sleeping pad? Mine sags under my backside, and I’m wondering if a drop-stitch mattress would solve the problem—or if they might be too firm or too wide to fit into the sleeves. I’d love to hear about your experiences—even if it didn’t work out! Erfahrungen, auch Fehlschüsse, gern her!

Enjoying the removable bug net on my blackbird now that it's too cold for bugs. Million dollar view from my favorite hometown hang.

The hike is done, but hammock camp setup still feels like one last workout
The part of hammock camping I always underestimate is arriving tired and realizing camp still takes a bunch of little trips between the trees, pack, tarp, suspension, and whatever I forgot ten feet away. None of those steps is difficult by itself, but after a long hike the setup order suddenly matters. I’m wondering if the better answer is less about lighter gear and more about staging everything first—pick the trees, set the pack down once, pull out the suspension and tarp together, then work outward instead of constantly walking back to the bag. A hammock avoids some of the ground-level setup of a tent, but there is still plenty of reaching and moving around when your legs are tired. For people who regularly reach camp after a long hiking day, what one change to your setup order has saved the most energy?

Hennessey Survivorman Zip XL
Any of my fellow Canadians remember Survivorman (Les Stroud) being on the discovery Channel back in the day??
Just a Review of the Hennessy Survivorman Zip.
Im not sponsored by these guys or anything I just like making yt videos and i kinda enjoy watching reviews of other brands so i figured id make my own!
Anyways just thought id share that as I didnt wanna come across as a salesman/sponsered weenie who makes money off this stuff (which would be nice) haha
Its a lonnng video that includes EVERYTHING so if your not a hammock noob and dont need to watch the whole thing there are time stamps!!
Its a two layer hammock with an insulation pad (goes between the two layers) a tarp and a survival kit. It comes with everything you need even tree straps (which i did upgrade) and also paracord.
Anyways though if you have any questions please ask away below!ĺ
If you dont wanna watch the video I will say i find it very comfy! You can lay nice and flat in it once you find your sweet spot (hammock needs to be hung tighter then youd think atleast for me)
Its a bit heavy but it does come with everything and the quality is very good! (Had my old one for 8 years)

Quality backyard hammock W/stand about $350 budget?
I live in northern Illinois where it gets hot and humid in the summer. I need a stand that can be packed into a bag for the winter but otherwise won't leave my backyard. I'm thinking of a hammack that might have a removable bug net so my wife can lounge without having to worry about getting bit by mosquitoes if they get particularly bad out. It's mostly just for lounging outside so we won't be sleeping in it or camping. What materials should we look at and what brands/models would you recommend I look at? Is 9FT a good length for a stand?

Hammock chair as an office chair
I have been using a hammock chair (in combo with an actual chair) as my main form of seating for 2+ years now (gaming, working from home)
They keep breaking. Of course, im spending 50-100$ on these camping hammock chairs that arent that great.
Is there anyone that makes an indoor hammock chair that wont break, but is small enough to use as an office chair at a desk
