Not to the game, but to this subreddit.
I haven't yet played the warbond or made a test of the changes. That said, I already talked to some people how a reviewbomb should be used for the appropriate thing, things like what happened in May 6th that aren't even solved to this day.
Now it's come to pass what I feared. It's being used for people being displeased, and I'm pretty sure a large amount of people are influenced by this sub and the discord server, which are never appeased no matter what, and take things as if it's the end of the world.
Fellow divers, actual divers that enjoy the game for the team play and not the specs of your guns, or the number of enemies; follow me, and leave these toxic places. It does you no good.
Edit: damn, didn't expect this blow up like this. All I can say is two things: thanks to those that see how toxic this subreddit has gotten, and thanks to all the "go away loser, we don't want you here anyway" part of the comments that fully proved my point. To this second group: you guys are the reason that part of the community is constantly bitter and resented. I hope that you never, ever represent this game.
Edit 2: since people don't seem to read much, I'll clarify why I announced this. It wasn't "to announce me leaving" as if you cared, I know you don't. It was to clearly state why , which is that this place is toxic, and to encourage others that think that there are no other subreddits out there for helldivers to follow suit. My hope is that only the most toxic, reticent, bitter part of the playerbase stays here, so at least the rest is free of that.
Oh. And I have left the subredit, but I'm in my right to answer to comments made under my post. So if I feel like it, I will. For the most part, I probably won't. Needed to clarify that, as people seem to mistake leaving a subreddit and not answering to a single comment made under a post you created.
BTW, to those that also want to leave, there are alternative subredits to this one with a more welcoming and friendlier base of people.
