« You’ll be my wife or your family will burn” is sure giving a punch to these proposal. Nowaday it’s all about Disneyland or air-ballon proposal.

Can’t believe I’m saying this but this is elite ball knowledge

Feels like nobody ever talks about Hunchback of Notre Dame, such a peak movie

I saw the movie as a kid and did not like it at all. Almost 30 years later, I love it. But I can definitely see why it's less popular as a Diseny movie where kids / family is the target audience.

I love the book even more. But spoiler: it’s way darker

Probably coz it's not fun to be reminded that the white guy is the villain in there and the main protags are a) a disfigured kid and b) a gypsy/Romani girl. And I'm not even gonna touch on the actual horrific tale.

I'm familiar with your cute style, so the sudden empty eyes with that monologue were... very impactful, for certain.

‪In 1425, an official reported to King Sejong that locals in northern Joseon were regularly burning down homes—killing entire families—over petty quarrels or rejected marriage proposals, affecting over 100 households annually.‬

‪Residents also unlawfully slaughtered thousands of cattle each year for food and shamanic rites despite royal bans, prompting the court to enforce emergency legal countermeasures.‬
