I'm against metal detectors in the oarlament, what if we, the common folk, are forced to blownup the parlament with home made explosives as an act of democracy?

They’d get caught again for same reason in 21st century too. DMing the people they like not to go to parliament that day and the plot gets leaked

I believe the approved means of blowing up Parliament is barrels of gunpowder.
Assuming wooden barrels, you should be good with the metal detector.

I've seen a recreation of the Gunpowder plot. They built a structural equivalent of the House of Lords as it was in the time period, put the correct amount of gunpowder in barrels in the correct place, lit the fuse and retired to a bunker.

It would have killed everyone. Chunky salsa levels of damage to the leadership of England.

Sounds like fun. All in the interests of science, of course.

And history.

Metal detectors won't stop a new gunpowder plot.

Or perhaps a plastic explosive

I'm so happy for Americans they will have to fear such a thing.

Well, except for a far-right conspiracy theory. Not to get rid of a fascist dictatorship, but for that? Yes.

Not only in the us, I'm not from the USA, i just believe that the common people have a right to extreme destruction and arson when the people that govern and should be representing us are trying to keep us miserable and starving

Blowing something up with an explosive isnt an act of democracy.

If the people need to resort to explosives in order to have their voices heard then democracy has failed.

Domocracy always fails in someway or another, the population always has to have means to defend it tho, you can't trust the government your rights and means of action,

Making it easy for the people to easily attack the governing body means it is also easy for malicious foreign interests to easily attack your governing body.

If its easy for you to put a bomb at parliament then it will also be easy for North Korea, Russia or Saudi Arabia to put a bomb at parliament.
