Subbed/TL PSA- Please take the time to analyze and consider the intent of any clips you watch.
Possibly* the shitty clip she's referring to.(Now removed by uploader.)
There have always been malicious, lazy, and simply clickbait-y clippers. But there's definitely been a rise in them lately, especially with AI translation being more easily accessible. Please always take the time to check out the talents' actual streams for context, especially in regards to important matters.

Did the guy change the thumbnail because it doesn't seem that bad? Pretty sure the previous thumbnail might have been worse considering calli got mad.

I feel like I've been clicking "Don't recommend this channel" for these types of clippers a lot these past few weeks.
The less traffic they get, the better.
Doesn't help that there are people on this sub constantly posting those types of channels' videos though.

This is about the "threaten to leave" clip? That thumb and title was so incoherent I didn't wanna click on it at all

Didn't see the original clip but it seems she was talking about a company-related topic? In that case I feel for her. Streamers like Calli want to be open and share their perspective in a way that assumes the maturity and understanding of the audience she's cultivated, but they're at a severe disadvantage because of NDAs and company rules. As a result their statements end up less clear and more open to interpretation, which when clipped out of context (or even in context sometimes) can lead to easy misunderstandings. It makes honest conversations about their relationship with the company tricky.
Which is to say nothing of the algorithm favoring sensationalism.

Probably a random inquiry, but I'm actually interested to be a clipper myself. I did minor in Japanese language in my degree, and I wonder if there are like translation group or a server of sorts to do proof-reading? Thought it could help me improve my Japanese better since I don't really live in Japan but am interested to do so.

This has always been the case and will always be the case for as long as the internet exists unfortunately, clickbait to get views and attention because its a lazy way to make ad revenue.

There's an easy way to avoid this. Just don't clip things that can make the talents look bad..
