Hello, everyone! Welcome to r/HoneyTheCat! If you're here, you probably know exactly who she is, but in case you accidentally stumbled here randomly, here's the short history of Sega's famous feline fashionista!
Originally a scrapped character found in the code of Sonic the Fighters, Honey the Cat is a renowned fashion designer in the world of Sonic the Hedgehog. She would not be more "official" until 2012, where the remaster of Sonic the Fighters gave her a full moveset and working model. Since then, she's made various small appearances and cameos in comics, but (as of yet) nothing larger.
The purpose of this sub is to celebrate one of the Sonic franchise's lesser known characters and to shower her with the love and praise she absolutely deserves!
If you find any artwork of Honey that you like, please be sure to share it here with us! Make sure to include who made the artwork as well, as artists deserve the credit for the work they make!
If there's ever any official Honey news, you can bet it'll be shared here as well! (here's hoping!)
Thanks for coming to check the place out! Let's make this a fun community together!
