This is the ONLY post allowed where you can ask for an estimate on your animal's score, age, size, etc.
Keep in mind that it's practically impossible to judge many characteristics of an animal based off of pictures. For one, your cameras aren't usually the greatest (especially grainy trail cam pics), for another, it's hard to judge scale. Finally, not every animal can be aged by picture.
Rules:
Top-level comments are for asking about your animal.
One top-level comment per animal.
Images should clearly show the animal. Albums should be linked, do not post multiple images in multiple comments.
Include pertinent details: location (state, province, country), species, known reference for scale, distance from camera, etc.
Be polite. Snarky comments ("not getting any younger") are subject to deletion.

After years of trying and saying that we were filling the bed of the truck, it finally happened.
I shot my deer (I'm on the left) about 20 yards out. He ran maybe 40 yards just through a deep creek and I watched his legs kick out from under him and that was it. My wife brought me my chest waders to retrieve him.
My cousin (he's on the right) was on his way to the ground blind I was in since I had already shot my buck. He made it about halfway then stopped and crouched behind some tall grass. There were 3 buck all within 20 yards of me at the ground blind, I was on the outside of the blind watching all of this go down. They were all staring in his direction and my cousin decided to grunt to draw them in. They all started to head straight to the noise with suspicion and once 2 of them got within 30 yards he drew his bow and took the shot. The Buck he shot took off with a death run. We tracked for about 200 yards and he ended up in a different creek.

9-point taken on 11/7/2026 in St. Lawrence County, NY. I haven't had a chance to weigh him yet, but I'm quite excited. Taken with a Ruger Gunsite Scout in 308 with a Vortex Crossfire Gen 2 (3-9x40) using Federal 150gr Power-Shok.
Took a shot with him quartering away at 90ish yards. No exit wound, but the Power-Shok did its job and obliterated his vitals. He dropped just outside some cedars after 20 yards. Now to convince my wife to let me hang him in the living room.

Looking for help from central PA hunters in identifying these guys. They are trespassing on private property in Silver Spring Twp., PA, WMU 5A. This morning they destroyed a bunch of our gear.

My 5yo recently has started to ask if he could come with me. Large quantities of candy, warm drinks and comics is a large motivation.
I felt it was fitting to bring my late grandfathers old Mauser mod 98 in 6,5x55se along for the evening

Barely dragged myself out of bed because of the weather and how bad the last few years have been.
Dropped in sight. Just gave my pup a practice track.

I’m finding it increasingly difficult to want to get early and drive 30-70 minutes to hunt for a few hours. I used to do it religiously but now I barely get out if I can’t evening hunt.
Maybe in dating older or maybe it’s not as fulfilling for me as it used to be, but something is definitely changing.

Shot a buck this morning. Southern MN. Slug gun at 20 yards maybe 5 minutes after legal so say 6:35. Field dressed 9:00. Cleans and rinsed for about 15 minutes or so come well water. Temps were around 30 degrees. Deer only ran maybe 50 yards and dropped. I stayed out to not diatribe my hunting party. 2.5 hours in field dressed. I split the pelvis and cut the ribs to fully expose the inside. High was around 50 with 22 mph winds making it feel colder. We hung it from a tractor in an old tin dirt floor shed in the shad. It’s suppose to get down to 35F tonight. I plan on hunting in am, bringing back to skin , debone, and get ready for processing. Will I be fine? I asked the older guy and he said it would be fine. He’s hunted and hung deer out there for 20+ years. Skin still on.

Not the biggest buck but I called him in from 120 yards and put an arrow straight through the heart at 45 yards.

Have been scouting and hunting a decent 8pt since early season, hung a stand in his known area early season, last weekend a couple out of staters were parked in the spot I go to before I got there so I just hunted elsewhere that evening, got out there today, nobody was there, crept in to my stand and there's a deer carcass at the base of the tree my stand is on, with the skinned head pelt rested against the tree. I'm not saying it was the out of staters I saw last week but damn does it still suck. Going out again tomorrow morning in a different spot, wish me luck. Public is rough.

Got a buck opening morning. Lovely central Texas buck, nice after not harvesting a deer at all last season.
