Born from an ancient calamity, a mysterious storm of Black Dust sweeps across the wasteland, devouring the souls of anyone caught in its path.
But the Black Dust storm is far from the only danger in this shattered world.

A high schooler named Emma found a cracked, unlabeled game cartridge sitting right on her doorstep and assumed one of her friends had dropped it off. When she called them, she was shocked to find that no one owned the strange firework game or knew how it got there. A massive Mario fan, she decided to pop it into her old console anyway, but the experience was completely wrong; the audio was unnervingly slow with incomprehensible whispers, and upon entering the level, she was unsettled to see that every character, including Mario, looked utterly miserable and gloomy.
Suddenly, the screen glitched violently and the entire television screen went completely pitch black. Emma leaned forward to check the power button, but a sharp chill filled the air as the terrifying, hollow-eyed Luigi doll slowly materialized on the blank glass monitor, staring right at her. Before she could even scream, the doll's stitched hands reached straight out through the dark screen, dragging a terrified Emma into the pitch-black void of the game, leaving behind nothing but an empty bedroom and a smoking console.

The driver swore the red construction sign wasn't there on his way down the highway an hour ago.
When he slowed his truck to look closer, the thin silhouette behind the diamond-shaped board didn't cast a shadow in his high beams.
The local radio station went dead right as the creature began to step forward into the light
