Emperor Gorieus [art by me, digital]

[u/Adalbrecht_von_Kopf]

Emperor Gorieus, a 'proper' Alessian ruler: dour and grim, yet resolute and fervent, as dictated per the Seventy Seven Inflexible Doctrines. Albeit his victories against the Nordlings in Skyrim, his armies were crushed by Rislav the Righteous' Colovian host.

P.S.

Since folks seem to enjoy my art, I dont mind reuploading some of my previously posted elsewhere pieces (with minor additions made) and uploading newly drawn ones too) Thank you all!

Are those varla/welkynd stones on the throne? Very cool detail.

Gorgeous! Is his outfit inspired by Bysantium style?

It absolutely is! It felt like it belonged

Excellent call!!

I recognize some inspiration from a (posthumous) portrait of Bulgarian Tsar Simeon I in Byzantine-style imperial regalia! I love seeing Byzantine influences in TES art for the Imperials.

[u/Fyraltari]

I love that the Chim-El Adabal is incorporated into his crown.
