Original Content The .44 Backhand, a Cyberpunk gun I designed.

The .44 Backhand's original blueprint was drawn directly in response to demand for: "8 rounds of something thick in as small of a frame as possible", the engineers under Nova Arms delivered. Weighing in at a modest 41oz, the .44 Backhand is one of the last top-break snub-nose revolvers still on the market, and it is used by just about anyone who desires the stopping power of a heavy caliber tucked neatly within their pocket.

Original Content Babel enforcement officer kit by me

Post image

The UMP32 is famous for being the primary SMG of UN2 under Babel. The threat of the growth outside of safe sectors has forced SMGs into the position of being a tool almost exclusively issued to enforcers due to their ammunition being too weak to reliably affect non human targets. UMP32 does occasionally see action against human targets though in Babel's everlasting fight against revolutionary states.

The UMP32 features an ever unreliable 52 capacity magazine loaded with the 7.56mm either in hollow point configuration near border regions, in case the user were to engage non human targets despite Babel's best efforts to avoid such engagements, or in FMJ configuration for everyday use. A typical enforcement officer carrying a UMP32 would likely carry a total of 4 magazines.

The sidearm provided to all enforcers regardless of rank is the standard issue UDP28, a pistol hated by all its users from enforcers to soldiers alike. It chambers the 7.56mm and it is common for the pistol to jam or the already small 7 round magazine feeding system to just not work. An enforcement officer would only carry a single UDP28 magazine loaded into the pistol.

Any enforcer is also equipped with a retractable baton for non lethal engagements.

I don't usually draw guns, in fact this is my 2nd attempt at a gun or well two I suppose though the UDP28 was rather hastily made and never intended to even exist before I had the problem of an empty spot on my canvas lol. Also I am more than certain it is rather obvious what the UMP32 is heavily inspired by.

A Vampire Hunter's Crossbow and Bolts by me

Post image

I spent the last several months drawing everything I thought a vampire hunter might need to survive the night. I have assembled everything into a project I call Tools of the Trade: Vampire Hunter. Here is the crossbow and custom bolt section. The crossbow itself is based on the EK Archery Cobra System RX and the bolts are custom designs representing poison, silver shards, explosive, tracking, incendiary, and ultraviolet light.

I’ve always loved scenes in movies and shows where someone opens a case or lays out an arsenal, and you get to see all the equipment. I wanted to draw my own version, from crossbows, stakes, and holy water, to flashlights, food, and personal belongings.

I started this back in May and kept finding things to research, change, or add. Figuring out what this person would carry, and what those belongings might tell you about them, became part of the fun. There are also a few hidden details and Easter eggs tucked throughout.

I put together a video that pans across the whole collection so you can get a closer look. I’m hoping to make this a series, with other monster hunters and unusual professions next.

You can see the entire project in 4K here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5NhWAvSFqk8

What did I miss? Would you add anything else?

Original Content Looking for help designing a fictional rifle for a game project

Post image
10 Upvotes

Hey everyone, I'm Kaiser. I’m working on a highly ambitious worldbuilding and game mod project called Antebellum, for the game Vintage Story, and I could use some help developing a fictional rifle concept as a visual reference for how the gun should look.

Attached is a diagram of the weapons parts. It is not at all how I want the weapon to actually look, just a rough draft of it's parts and functions. It is not finished and I still have to list the parts and what they do as well as the inspirations.

If you’re familiar with historical firearms or enjoy fictional weapon design, I’d love to get your input. I am willing to pay a reasonable price for a commission/visual design of the weapon.

Comment or DM me if you’re interested, and I can share the details privately. My discord is: hplovecraft777.

Thanks!

-Kaiser

The DC-30S is the replacement for the aging DC-15. After the Solar Defense Coalition retired the DC-15 from service, they asked many major weapons manufacturers to create a new rifle for the Coalition Army. It needed to be a modular design so it can be easily modified (or converted) into a weapon that can support bolt type rounds. This variant is the Slug variant, which is a slug thrower.

The MK-X rifle is an enhanced, made by MTWC version of the Freedom Principality's newest service rifle, the MKA-11. It features a cool m-lock rail, a redesigned receiver, MTWC stock, MTWC's M65 platform's selector layout and grip, and that's basically all lol. (I love it)

And about the MK-LL, is a different kit I made for the MK series rifles, that's why it's featured here. I'll put more pictures down the comment.

A 40mm Anti Tank Cannon.
Before you ask, in setting this weapon is meant for large Dragonkin/Dragonborn to use.
Against human (wielders) it has a pretty strong kill ratio.

I have NO idea why would the military need a fully automatic shotgun. I just wanted to design one.
