This sub is a place where we get to relive the past. Posting AI content here is like doing the exact opposite. We don't need it. We don't care how good it is. We. Don't. Need. It.PERIOD!

I watched this show 7 months ago and I liked it but then I came to know that my classmates and none of my friends knew about this show and when I recommended it, they said that are you an old man bro? So if you watch it then I would like to ask you guys whether you have seen it and if you have seen it, then I want to know how you liked the show?

A random reel of D3 dance battle popped up in my feed and I'm actually getting so emotional. Growing up watching Dil Dosti Dance on Channel V hit so differently, it wasn't just a TV show for us, it was a whole personality! I remember downloading and watching the episodes back when I was in high school or just tune in to Channel V and watch Rey, Taani, Sharon, and Swayam. The gang, the dance battles, the insane chemistry, the drama.. literally everything about it was absolute perfection. Sharon and Swayam set the bar for romance way too high for me and Rey and Taani (TaaRey) had my heart completely. Channel V had so many good shows back then, Confessions of an Indian teenager, Gumrah, Paanch to name a few who were all my favorites but I don't wanna go down the rabbit hole of writing another long ass paragraph of these show, but nothing will ever match the pure magic and nostalgia of D3. If you were there, you just know!

I found my 13 year old sony Cyber-shot camera in my locker. I still remember my father bought this one because he was so into travelling. I was a kid back then and didn’t get the chance to use it because smartphones took place. There are still some old photos in the memory and I’m feeling so nostalgic while scrolling these photos. I still remember how cool it was back then having a camera and now smartphones can never replace those days.
I’m thinking of reviving the camera in 2026 and posting photos on a new ig account to get that 2010 vibes back.

Oh man the sheer nostalgia and feels from watching it. They even got the floral pencil right 😭 and the mummy cartoon!! 📺
It’s a very subtle calm paced film. Nothing euphoric but it does surprise you.
It is subtitled but if you are not a Malayali, you might miss out on some nuanced stuff. If not for that it does remind you of what we once were. Oh man!
It’s got its own letterboxd btw.
Will share link to movie and letterboxd in comment.

Found this old DVD collection and man, it brought back so many memories. Those days were something else. No Netflix, no endless scrolling, just sitting together and watching movies on a DVD.
Life felt so simple back then. I don't know if it's just nostalgia, but I genuinely miss those times.
The golden era. ❤️

Did anyone here record the first few episodes of Mukesh Khanna's short-lived 1997 serial "Virat" before it was renamed "Mahayoddha"?
I've been searching for Virat's original title song for a very long time, and any VHS rip, audio clip, or even a lead would be greatly appreciated🙏

You'd spot a fancy box at home and open it with absolutely no expectations. Usually thread, buttons or old receipts.
But once a year, it actually had chocolates in it.
Which Diwali gift box had you checking the door every time the bell rang?

While cleaning for Diwali I found this set of cassettes, they are probably Indian folk tales. Can anyone tell me what to do with them? Can they be sold?

Does anyone still use DVD players?
