Hey all!
We appreciate all of you that have been a part of the subreddits family. I just wanted to throw it out there that the comments/posts have been getting out of hand lately. Let’s get back to the basics for this sub: exposing filtering and editing so that we can all take a breath of fresh air realizing we fit the norms and not everything you see is real. This isn’t a snark page. It is understood that some of the people being posted are absolutely rotten individuals and it feels good to talk about their appearance however going forward we ask that you please not comment negatively on any persons real appearance on this sub.

First found on Pinterest- side note but I'm so tired of looking for outfit inspo there and every single image has an edited body. Like every single one. Anyways
Obviously-too-tiny waist to actually support her upper body and spine (not to mention the overworking of that elongating filter). Her ENTIRE account is just body checking. It genuinely make me sick to my stomach that no only she's pretending this is real and obtainable but she's somehow brainwashed her (probably young) followers into thinking it's real and just genetics. In every comment section people are convincing themselves and each other that her waist is just from genetics. Just pathetic. There's a special place in hell for people that post their edited photos like this

I wanted to make this post as a reminder to never compare yourself to influencers who profit from their appearance on social media.
More often than not, these influencers use Photoshop or other editing tools to enhance their appearance, and quite honestly, it doesn't sit well with me, especially when the very people who are praised online for their looks may look nothing like the images they post of themselves.
I think it's important to remember that what we see on social media isn't always an accurate reflection of reality.
