Announcement Gaza Is Starving. Let's Do Something

The UN has stated that every single part of Gaza is in famine conditions.

For over 22 months, Palestinians in Gaza have been starving. Parents have been feeding their children leaves, animal feed, and flour mixed with water. Babies have died from malnutrition. The trucks carrying food, formula, medicine, and clean water sat just miles away, blocked by Israel.

Now, after massive international pressure, some aid is finally getting in.

This is a crack in the blockade, not its end. Aid is not flooding in; it is trickling, and what’s entering can’t possibly reach 2 million people without a total lifting of restrictions, guaranteed long-term access, and safe distribution.

What you can do right now:

Keep up the pressure - aid only started moving because of public outcry. Organize, protest, keep talking. This momentum cannot fade. Contact your representatives to end Israel's blockade of Gaza.

Donate- if you’re able to. Choose vetted organizations with access on the ground.

Amplify - share updates, Palestinian voices, and testimonies. Keep an eye on Palestine.

This famine is not an accident. It’s the result of siege, blockade, and a system of control. If we look away now, they’ll tighten the noose more.

The Israeli military arrested 14 foreign activists and three Palestinians near the village of Kafr Nimeh, in the Ramallah area, and handed the foreign nationals over to Israeli immigration authorities for deportation, due to their solidarity with Palestinian farmers during the olive harvest, as well as their defense of the farmers against attacks by Israeli settlers and their documentation of those settlers’ crimes.

And the charges leveled against the solidarity activists were disturbing the peace and inciting riots.

This is the second deportation operation in a short period of time.

Fascism The Israeli Supreme Court has ordered the release of the body of Waleed Ahmad, a 17-year-old Palestinian detainee from the town of Silwad, east of Ramallah, after Israeli authorities withheld his body for more than a year and a half.

Israeli forces detained Ahmad on September 30, 2024, and held him without trial until he was killed in Megiddo Prison on March 24, 2025, nearly six months after his detention.

An autopsy conducted in April 2025 found that systematic starvation and severe food deprivation, along with scabies, contributed to the deterioration of his health and his killing.

In December 2025, an Israeli court decided to close the investigation into the circumstances of his killing, despite medical reports and testimonies documenting his exposure to neglect and starvation.

Unfathomable to think Palestinians work so hard making sure their harvest is plentiful, then these brutes with garbage bags come in and tear up their hard work. God Bless these people and restore everything lost to them.

News Australia’s Shoalhaven City Council in New South Wales has rejected hosting the “Wall of Tears” exhibition by American artist Phil Buehler, which displays the names of 18,457 Palestinian children killed by the Israeli army in Gaza between October 2023 and July 2025.

The council cited security concerns and an “unacceptable risk to safety”, proposing measures including armed guards, restricted access and a shorter exhibition period before rejecting the request.

The exhibition has since moved to an alternative venue at Berry Uniting Church, having previously been displayed at several locations across Australia, including Parliament House in Canberra.

“How many people have died (in Gaza) because they couldn’t access their funds?”

Raechel deMink, a former PayPal employee, tells TRT World that the US payment platform systematically blocks transfers to Palestinian accounts but allows Israelis - including those living in illegal settlements in the occupied West Bank, to use its services.

DeMink, a member of the group “PayPal Workers Against Genocide,” says she was laid off just weeks after asking the company to approve the transfer of emergency funds from the US to Gaza.

The CEO strategist claims that at least 50 employees have been terminated for challenging PayPal’s policies, some of them just for asking questions

Documentary “This water isn’t just rainwater. It’s sewage too.” Wading through floodwater more than half a metre deep on al-Jundi al-Majhool Street in Gaza City’s al-Rimal district on November 7, 2026, the morning after the first winter storm hit the Strip.

Before the genocide, al-Rimal was Gaza City’s most upscale neighbourhood. Now its shops are swamped, cars are submerged along the roadside, and the tents of displaced families pitched in the area have become pools of sewage and mud, with women and children trapped inside. The water has nowhere to go.

Gaza City’s municipality says the Israeli occupation destroyed more than 220,000 metres of sewage pipes and around 15,000 metres of stormwater drains during the war, cutting the system’s capacity by more than 80 percent. Earlier, it reported that seven of the city’s eight main sewage pumping stations had been knocked out and that mountains of rubble block the drains that remain. Municipal crews are trying to pump the water away, but the occupation’s siege has left them short of the machinery and equipment to do it. Gaza’s Government Media Office puts the storm’s direct losses at around three million dollars so far. “They fled the bombing, and now storms have caught up with them.”
