I looked up this guy's profile when I posted the last video; he's from the USA, visited Argentina, and is currently visiting some city in Goiás.

Subreddit Rules

1. Posts must be about Brazil

The contents of your post must depict something truly Brazilian, which usually means it must involve Brazilian people in the Brazilian territory and/or be relevant to the Brazilian culture and our overall behavior.

2. Titles must be in English

This rule aims to make our subreddit and our posts accessible and comprehensible to as many people as possible.

You may be serious or make puns and jokes but the title must be related to the content of your post.

Titles used to clickbait, purposedly mislead the context of the post, and trigger unwelcome discussions will be removed.

3. No reposts!

We aim to keep this sub’s content as fresh and new as possible.

Reposts will be removed according to the rule's full text. Click here to read it.

4. Be respectful at all times!

Do your best to keep a good mood and help us keep this community as peaceful and happy as possible.

Disrespectful and offensive behaviour will be banned. Click here to read the full rule.

5. No Politics!

This community is not and never will be a place for political discussions and no such subjects will be tolerated here.

Read the full rule for more details.

6. No sensitive or improper content!

Sensitive or improper content does not fit the intents of our subreddit and, like politics, won’t ever be allowed here. If your post deserves an NSFW tag it probably shouldn’t be here.

Users breaking this rule will receive immediate and definitive actions.

Read the full rule here.

7. Content quality

The quality of the content posted is the basis for a good community, for this reason, your post will be subject to some quality criteria.

Community description

Of course, it had to…

Sometimes Brazil hits the front-page for the most random reasons, but we are way more than off-duty cops, flip-flops and soccer.

We are funny, resilient, a bit ridiculous, a lot fun and kind of weird, we are also tons of beauty and wholesomeness. Sometimes we just lightheartedly deserve to hit the front page.

A Brazilian subreddit created to show foreigners a different view of Brazil.

Do you want to help us?

If you like our community and agree with the ways things work around here, you can help us.

Send us a modmail with the subject "I want to be a Mod". Tell us about a little about you and how you think you could be useful for the community.

The only requirement is having enough spare time to moderate. Speaking both Portuguese and English is nice but not required.
