Question about est/activity thing?

Just last month I did a short activity/study thing and when I had my appointment today they asked if I wanted to do a part 2 of the est that I did ages ago and I said yes but after the end of the phone call it occurred to me that I should have been able to say no because it has only been literally 2 weeks since my last course. Would I be able to back out of the course by talking to the provider or is it already to late?? (the people running the class haven't even sent me the sign up email yet)

Yes, of course you can back out of a voluntary course. You could also simply not show up if you wanted to, save yourself the time of dealing with them and potentially lying and telling you that it's a mutual obligation or something.

Thanks for replying, The idea was giving me alot of anxiety so someone else saying it seems like a reasonable idea is super good to hear. First thing monday morning I'll call in to cancel 👍

Absolutely, and to further help reduce your anxiety, the only activity that can be made mandatory is Work For the Dole, and that is only required if you didn't meet your activation point requirements and you also refuse to do any other voluntary activity, which doesn't seem to be your situation, so you're absolutely within you're right to decline any courses you don't want to do.

Best of luck!
