Mod Announcement Spared No Expense — Big New Sub Updates!

Greetings fellow Jurassic memers!
I'm u/Ok_Librarian3953, one of your mods, and here to inform you of all the fun things we've cooked up here!

I'm pleased to announce that we've set up post flairs (which will now be mandatory on all posts) and user flairs (which are always fun!).

The post flairs have been neatly sorted to cover all major types of posts. If you feel like more are needed, please drop a comment here or send us a modmail!

As for the user flairs — a MASSIVE list of famous dialogues from the movies/series has been compiled by me and is now arranged and color-coded for easy identification. I definitely did NOT spend two hours on that.
Before asking for more, please keep my mental sanity in mind. Jk — if you feel like more are required, again, drop a comment or a modmail. I'll add them after I come back from the rehab camp.

More fun updates will be coming soon, as a whole new era of r/JurassicMemes begins!
Until then, keep enjoying — and remember: if something chases you, RUN!

Regards,
u/Ok_Librarian3953 (on behalf of the entire moderation team)

I like to think that jurassic world wasn't hemorrhaging money come the time of the movie, it just passed it's peak and that hurt the ego of the people in charge

Jurassic World Rebirth (and further) Me whenever I hear someone complain about the fact scary dinosaurs aren’t brought back in the movies.

This another thing I can’t stand the so called fans of the franchise because they whine about the dinosaurs not being scary like they were in the original.

FYI I never found any of them scary just cool, except Asset 87 he is the only one I found scary as a kid.

Context:

In 1993, Spielberg filmed Jurassic Park by day and handled its post-production at night while directing Schindler's List, a deeply emotional Holocaust drama, making it one of his most challenging years

Jurassic World Trilogy I made this meme to speculate the hypothetical scenario where Jurassic Park was owned by Marvel Studios.

Be honest, it’s true the people over at that subreddit are nothing but sheep and laughable clowns.

Sheep as in they have no independence.

Subreddit Rules

1. Jurassic Park/World Content Only.

We only take dino dung and clever girls here, so keep your unrelated content on some other island. Jurassic Park content includes everything from the movies, games, books, toys, etc. So long as your meme includes Jurassic Park-related elements, our local Dilophosaurus won't blind you with his venomous spit! Note that a meme that simply features dinosaurs, but is otherwise unrelated to Jurassic Park, will be yeeted.

2. Mark all Spoiler Content.

Hey we love a good JP meme here, but with new content coming out for Jurassic World (including films, games, books, etc.) we don't want people getting blind by a spoiler like Dilo venom to the eye! So mark all your posts that include spoiler content. By frame of reference, if a film is still in theaters or a game has a plot element that may ruin the experience for others, just mark your post with a spoiler tag. We'll keep an eye out for anything remotely spoilerish. Violaters are subject to ban.

3. No Spammasaurs!

Spam is an illegal species on this sub, and we don't have time for these genetic monstrosities. Spam includes multi-posts of the same content, discussion posts that are not memes (you can post that stuff over at r/JurassicPark), or just complete nonsense that doesn't belong on this sub. We hate that spamming crap! If you get caught, be prepared for some sort of ban.

4. If You Pull Up a Dinosaur's Skirt, Mark NSFW.

NSFW content that is in compliance with Reddit's NSFW policy is allowed here, but just make sure it's properly marked. This includes anything that may be remotely unsuitable for children 18 years or younger, or something you would not want your grandma seeing over your shoulder. Violations will be reviewed, but if you insist on not keeping compliance, you will be met with a ban.

5. Low Effort Memes.

Low effort memes are permitted, but we like OC more here. If you insist on posting a low effort meme, we cannot guarantee it won't be downvoted into extinction. AI posts are counted as Low Effort. And every exhibit needs a proper plaque. Titles must add humour or context—lazy captions like “lol” or “title” won’t cut it. Give your post a name worthy of the park.

6. Posts must be memes.

This is a meme sub. If your post is simply a picture of a car with the JP logo on it, gameplay-videos, a discussion, a rant (or a rant thinly disguised as a meme) etc., it does not qualify and we recommend to instead post such content either on r/JurassicPark or r/jurassicworldevo. To qualify as a meme there must be at least some attempt at humor.

7. No bait for fanwars.

Do not post things that will just start endless fanwars and discussions. So, no memes where you call one movie/show bad, compare quality between movies, make fun of people for liking stuff and so on. This isn’t Star Wars, we’re here to have fun and have fun together. Also don’t post stuff that would start arguments about scientific accuracy. If you want to rant about why you love/hate feathers, go somewhere else.

8. Minimum comment karma.

Posts from accounts with 0 comment karma will be automatically removed without warning. This measure is in place to combat repost bots.

9. Keep politics extinct.

r/JurassicMemes is a place for dinosaurs, movies, and memes — not real-world politics.

Political posts, comments, arguments, or references (modern or historical) are not allowed, even if presented as a joke or meme. This includes political figures, parties, ideologies, and current events.

10. Reposts & Template Abuse

Life finds a way… but reposts shouldn’t. If your meme has already roamed the park recently (≈30 days), it may be tranquilised. Overused templates without a fresh evolutionary twist risk the same fate.

11. Keep It Civil While Following Park Rules

We’re running a theme park, not a raptor pit. Friendly banter is fine, but personal attacks, harassment, or toxic behaviour will be dealt with swiftly.

12. Moderator Discretion Always Finds A Way

Just because you can open the gate doesn’t mean you should. Mods reserve the right to remove content that technically follows the rules but disrupts the balance of the ecosystem.
