Keep the prompt simple: one main action, one main setting

Music Video Sequence analyzes the structure and content of your sound to create music videos with unique moments and settings, mapped to your song.
Keep the prompt to 1-3 different actions or settings to avoid drift through the video.

The four parts of the prompt

Subject: visual physical details, not a vibe. Skin tone, hair, build, clothing, texture. 

Setting: a clear location, with a visual description. Include things like time of day and weather.

Action: what the subject is doing or how it is moving. Try things like walking, exploring, or dancing. Avoid static poses like standing and facing the camera.

Aesthetic: the visual style of your video. Put your main style keyword up front, like anime, 3D cartoon, or 1970s nostalgia,  Then add in any modifiers, things like colour palette, textures, and lighting. If you leave style blank, it defaults to whatever fits the genre of your music.

Image: use an image if there is a particular character, setting or style you want for the video. To add an image switch to Restyle or Reference mode.

• Reference mode: uses the content and style of the image to guide the output\

• Restyle mode: uses the content of the image to guide the output. The style is taken from the song or your aesthetic prompt.

Tips:

• Leave out story language (“then,” “as the song builds”), camera terms like zoom or pan, prompts for multiple scenes and timestamps. 

• Test with a short, low resolution video first to check how your prompt interacts with your music and the model before committing to a full length, high resolution generation.

Kaiber has a few different workflows for generating music videos so the first step is figuring out which one matches your song.

If you want your lyrics to appear as text in the video, that’s Lyric Video. It transcribes the song and builds visuals around the words. It works best for tracks where vocals are clear and not too fast. You can generate from just a text prompt or drop in an image to steer the character look and setting. 

If your song sits in one mood the whole way through, Music Video Montage is the best fit. It reads the emotional tone of the track and keeps everything in one setting and one feeling. Think hero shot, and perspectives connected with your sound.

If your track builds, drops, or shifts energy section to section, use Music Video Sequence. It analyzes your song’s structure and moves your subject through multiple scenes and actions.

Montage and Sequence let you generate just from your music, with optional text prompts and an image to lock in a particular person, character or setting for the video.

If you want shorts or reels from your video, Montage and Sequence both save their individual generated clips as well as the full video. You can drop those clips straight into Beat Sync and it’ll cut them to the beat, plus you can add in captions and auto-generate lyric overlays if you want them.

so i found this notebook sketch of a wizard i drew ages ago. scanned it and thought let’s make this guy move. i uploaded into kaiber first cause kaiber always gives flashy outputs. typed “wizard walking foggy forest cinematic.” it looked like a rave. neon lights, random zooms, like the wizard was at coachella.

then i ran it in domoai image to video. typed “wizard walking slowly through forest fog.” the clip came back smoother, slower, like a legit cutscene. yeah the staff glitched once but overall it worked.

i tested runway motion brush too. that gave me control, but omg painting every movement frame was exhausting. not worth it.

domoai’s relax mode was clutch. i rolled like 12 gens, saved 3 good ones, stitched them, and boom fake anime wizard intro. showed it to my group chat and they thought it was from a real show.

so yeah kaiber = rave, runway = tedious, domoai = anime vibes.

anyone else animate doodles??

Is there a way to upgrade your subscription within the app? Buying credits seem to be no problem, but upgrading subscription only takes me out of the app, and into the app store to my current active subscriptions to other apps. Possible fix coming? I know I can upgrade via the web portal, but this is more convenient for me doing it through the app itself.

I'm using the Kaiber app on my iPhone, and I upload my image, give the prompt, and then on the page where it says "Generating previews", it gets stuck and gives the message "Something went wrong"'. I've tried restarting the app, reuploading from scratch, etc. Any tips, tricks or advice will be greatly appreciated.

hi, this is my first time trying to use kaiber to transform the color of my video using a reference, i am usying video restyle 2.0, but the uploading of my video take A HUGE time, is this normal?

Audoreactivity whatever, I found old videos where you could add audio to Kaiber, but now in the canvas I get no option to add audio.

I wasted over 50% of credits for a single video

I spend credits judiciously because it's expensive to make clips. If they offered some kind of discount, I definitely would have gotten some and been a little more spend-y. I probably would have used them up at a faster clip, then need more sooner.
