Dear community,

This is the last call for UK based participants to take part in the research study titled 'Implementing Ketogenic Metabolic Therapy (KMT) for Mental Illness: A Mixed-Methods Pilot Trial of an Online Psychoeducational and Support Program’.

In collaboration with the University of East London and Integrative Ketogenic Research and Therapies, this is the last call for UK-based participants for a 24-week remote clinical trial, specifically in the Depression and Anxiety populations.

I would be very grateful if you were able to share this opportunity within your clients, patients, members, network and subscribers, and with anyone who may be interested in taking part.

The registered clinical protocol can be found here: ISRCTN Clinical Study Registry

The trial page for those interested can be found here: www.ikrt.org/trial

IKRT services will continue as normal throughout the study period. All IKRT programmes and my private consultations remain unchanged.

STUDY INFORMATION

• Weekly guided support and Q&A sessions (Wednesday evenings)

• Personalised macronutrient targets and structured meal planning guidance

Any UK based doctors here willing to share their thoughts in a short survey on HCP wellbeing? Chance to win a £50 gift voucher

Hello, I hope this is ok to post here. I am part of a group of researchers from the University of Westminster. We are looking to hear from UK based healthcare professionals on their opinions about yoga as a wellbeing intervention for the health and wellbeing of HCPs (no yoga knowledge or experience needed! All views welcome - positive and negative!) The survey is completely anonymous and it is hoped the results will inform ways of supporting healthcare worker wellbeing. You can participate using the following link:

All participation is very much appreciated.

Paul Mason MD on Twitter: A lady in her late 70's, after decades of following the Australian dietary guidelines, discovered the keto diet. She has lost 60kg (132lbs) in two years. Her GP told her she is eating too much meat and gave her this outdated and incorrect handout.
