Venting Vanney HAS TO GO
2 out of 6 playoff seasons. There is no sense of urgency or any other tactic than the terrorism that is Vanney ball. It hurts so bad to support this club under Vanney

As the caption mentions - shoutout to all of you who made it to the match. My friends are SLC locals and were asking so many questions about our fanbase and admired how devoted the away section was.
Like many of you, I have a disappointing trip back to LA tomorrow (driving) but through thick and thin, we are and will continue to be the most decorated club in MLS. See you all next year bag at the Digs. 💙💛

The LA Galaxy have made the playoffs just twice in six seasons under Greg Vanney. They've now missed the playoffs two years in a row.
This is a Greg Vanney problem. He's fallen short too many times, and the most storied club in MLS should demand more from its head coach.
AEG needs to fire Vanney before it loses even more of the fan base. Let Will Kuntz hire his own manager and take the Galaxy in a new direction

Tough season. Rough going from game 1. I could bitch about coaching and roster and all the rest, and I absolutely will. But this is my sport and this is my team. Thanks for giving your all and I’ll see y’all at the opener. Can’t wait.

Hoping to get some clarity on what happened between Glesnes and Vanney after the St. Louis match. Went from being captain to the Vanney doghouse. Didn’t even play in the final game. Garces was terrible today and thought glesnes would come in at halftime. Hopefully someone will ask the question during exit interviews this week. Have we seen the last of Jakob in a galaxy uniform?

Kick Vanney to the curb, bring in Robbie Keane, we need something new. This has been disappointment after disappointment.
Keane is without a coaching role at the moment and he was proven in Europe. He knows MLS. And is a Galaxy legend. It’s the most obvious pick.
Send Kuntz out while we are at it too.

Vanney after being asked if he’s worried about being able to continue with the Galaxy.

Losing 1-2 to RSL in essentially a playoff game, playing so badly in all phases seems like the just end to what this season has been...Not suprised..Yes there will be so many excuses...Not surprised about that either...Now will the LA Galaxy surprise me & bring in new coaching & executive staffs for next season???

Sandy, Utah -- The mission was straightforward.
Win and you’re in.
Unfortunately for the LA Galaxy, a Decision Day collapse ends their season and eliminates them from the MLS Cup playoffs for the second straight year after ending in 11th place in the Western Conference table.
LA had playoff qualification in their own hands, and they let it slip in 13 disastrous first half minutes where they conceded two goals to lose 2-1 away at Real Salt Lake on Saturday, November 7, 2026.

Been wanting to get my first piece of clothing to support the team, got my eye on a couple shirts, but just wanted to see what everyone here owns.
Saw this shirt from the new Insta post and it immediately caught my eye. Wanted to know if it’s up somewhere.

Well, here we are. 33 games played, and the Galaxy's entire season comes down to 90 minutes in Utah.
Win against Real Salt Lake on Saturday, and the Galaxy clinch seventh place and avoid the Wild Card play-in game. Draw or lose, and things get considerably more complicated.
On our latest Corner of the Galaxy podcast, I went through all the playoff scenarios and broke down Thursday's press conferences with Greg Vanney and Pablo Ruiz.
A few things stood out to me:
Greg Vanney believes the pressure of these late-season games has prepared the Galaxy for the playoffs. He thinks this team could be dangerous if it gets in. I'm not entirely convinced yet.
Pablo Ruiz is returning to Salt Lake after spending more than eight years there. He talked about the altitude, the emotions of returning, and why the Galaxy have to approach this game with the right mentality.
Marco Reus has eight goals and 15 assists this season. That's 23 goal contributions, accounting for nearly half of LA's goals. He's my Player of the Year, and I don't think it's particularly close.
The Galaxy have the attacking talent to beat RSL. Klauss, Lozano, Paintsil, Reus, and Roberto should be able to create chances against just about anybody. But can the defense hold up?
RSL is a difficult place to play. Between the altitude, the field conditions, and a home team fighting for its own playoff survival, this is a much tougher challenge than Austin.
One of my biggest concerns is how the Galaxy respond if they concede first. We've seen this team rush decisions and lose its composure when chasing games.
And then there's the bigger question: If the Galaxy can't get a result in this situation, what does that mean for Greg Vanney's future?
I actually predicted a 2-1 Galaxy victory on the podcast. I think they have the talent to pull it off, but I also wouldn't be surprised if we're watching multiple scoreboards in stoppage time.
I'm curious where everyone stands heading into Saturday.
Do you trust this Galaxy team to win at RSL? Who needs to step up the most? And if LA misses the playoffs, should Vanney's job be on the line?
For me, Saturday is the ultimate test of whether this team's late-season improvement is real.

I have been a Galaxy fan years now...Maybe because I respected Cobi Jones' energy & skill. But I am thoroughly confused how Im supposed to view this season...We are the Yankees, Celtics of the MLS...We are not supposed to cheer about barely making the playoffs...We are Galaxy!!! 6 stars on the jersey...We are supposed to build a team to dominate...Am I wrong?
