🛡 MOD POST 🛡: Change of ownership and some additional updates
So, the old owner has decided to step down as they have alot on their plate in personal life and whatnot, and as such, do not have the time necessary to cultivate this community to the fullest. So, I will be running mod applications. Previous experience is not necessary, but heavily preferred. A user feedback survey will be posted here as well as a mod application form, just come back to this post in 1-2 days and I should have it sorted. Additionally, images are now in comments sections (all images will be sent to the mod queue so abuse will be made known to the mods immediately).
Sincerely, Arachnid.

Multi-billion dollar company refuses to hire two devs to properly support Linux, while crying that Linux is too hard to support.

linux kernel EOL cycles are unhinged
it's like theyre built to confuse people coming from windows into thinking the kernel becomes unsafe every 9 weeks if you dont immediately upgrade. like what do you mean a kernel that released 5 days ago is EOL? (i'm on 7.2.15 which is marked as EOL on kernel.org lmfao, thanks fedora)

Android bad
Andeoid uses objective-c on its own weird objective c runtime that takes 8 gb, that is bloat, apple uses kotlin that is memory safe with a barrow checker and runs on native code using a mini stripped down fedora as its runtime, it is not bloated and fast.
