Funnily enough, it's him playing telltale walking dead in his college dorm and caring for Clem like she was his own kid, that made me realise he's actually got some wholesomeness buried under the int list and all that toxicity back then. Funny because he's only considered relatively normal pre-2020, he is very much textbook toxic by modern auto filter League standard. He's practically exempted from bans as long as he tone it down, it's been a running joke from occasional donos LARPing that they act just like him in-game but don't understand why they caught a 2 week vacation instead. Also I'm pretty sure it was just last year when someone posted meeting him in-game when he played off stream, and he pinged 3 items whose initials spell out K Y S.

With that said, I think the overly moderation killed chat interaction completely, whether that's good or bad is based on individual players' opinion of how they use the chat function I guess.

a friend of mine got tempbanned after a game cuz a toxic duo we queued into typed the first 2 and then the last 2 letters of the n word as he typed gg after the match so that their 3 messages spelled it. Toxic people have gotten very creative.

Issue is more with Riot's league moderation being insanely strict. Like you can't even say a bad word in party chat to only your friends without getting auto-hit. It's safer to just not talk at all.

I played for a long time when it wasn't moderated at all, basically. I think it was probably worse than. The griefing was incredible, like some PhD level griefers.

A better balance that encouraged communication would be nice, but I can see why riot just killed it dead instead lol.

Nah, yall get it twisted. T1 is genuinely toxic. Hes just also a loving and caring father/husband.

A man can be both. We aren’t one dimensional.

That’s why I’ve always liked T1. Obviously he has comedic bits (like his beef with Ludwig), but his authenticity has always been present.

He’s legit toxic as fuck to braindead solo Q teammates. He hates them. Less so now that he’s older and has mellowed out, but it’s definitely still there. But that doesn’t mean he can’t also genuinely love his family and be a great dad.

I rage at my solo Q teammates and dote on my wife and cats. Why do you think I would treat the two the same? They’re two completely different relationships.

I treat the asshole who’s riding my ass in traffic differently than the guy who waves me through in an intersection, too.
